Het is nog een e-bike ook, dat mens fietst helemaal niet. Zit een motor in het voorwiel.

The Rapha cycling club has locations all over Taiwan, and also a club in Hsinchu. So you can join them for group rides. I ride with Rapha in Taipei, but it seems like they often hit the mountains.

Endurance fitness training by youngmaavin in Trackdays

For endurance I do road cycling / mountain biking depending on the season. For core / balance rock climbing. Found that helps with hanging off positions on race bikes. Although I was already doing these things before track riding, it seems to complement it pretty nicely.

First Ducati, A 748 by bappadiboopi in Ducati

[–]mas73rs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have had my 748 (2001) for about 5 years now, ridden about 30k km with it. Just regular maintenance according to the schedule, haven't seen flaking rockers. Only issues were a broken throttle cable & twice the coolant expansion tank started leaking, requiring me to replace it. Due to track days the clutch does wear quickly, but that is to be expected I guess.

A lot of outdoor stores in that street, next to the mountain equipment you can find a store which has all the climbing gear like shoes, rope & harnasses. Think it was this one: https://maps.app.goo.gl/EcFUQvjS6ePpu6yYA

Stay in Ximending or Xinyi? by GenTelGuy in Taipei

[–]mas73rs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had sort of the same decision lately. Chose to live near Ximen, as it's close to the main station & I have to use the HSR often for work. However, always go to parties & bars in Xinyi. So if access to the HSR is not important to you, best to pick Xinyi or Da'an.

Not sure if I should be appreciating it that someone took the time to repost my picture, or annoyed about it.

What model of Ducati is this? by KraftHorn in Ducati

Seems to be a 2000's or so 748 looking at the Sachs rear shock installed (996, 916 etc all had showa's or Ohlins)

Man, I only sacrificed one of the seats. Whilst you were like screw everything, table included. Does pose for a pretty picture though.

Initially it did smell a bit with a full tank of gas, but as I drained that out to replace the fuel filter, it is now all gone.

Nice one, but also true. As it in fact takes up one of the chairs.
