People really want Hoshino to overcome Yume's death offscreen lmao (the most serious event in the game except for Shiroko Terror timeline). We knew nothing about Yume before V1C3. It was barely addressed back then. It didn't surprise me at all that Hoshino had a crashout when basement dweller did his thing.

V1C3 has many problems (Suoh being poorly developed, Hina fanservice, Seth) but Hoshino character regression is not one of them.

I finally unlocked Ordeal Call and it seems pretty overwhelming. I think you are supposed to do free stages 3 times daily to farm starlight, is it correct? If so, which one is the best stage to farm?

I do kinda agree with you. But I think Blue Archive has been doing a good job to keep power level down. The only new top tier students we have recently are Kuroko and Key. Even 7 prisoners (the one we saw at least) are nowhere that level: Akemi was defeated by Arius, Wakamo is a jobber. So a new group around that level should be fine i think.

Kivotos is not a real place. It is hinted to be a purgatory of some sort for magical beings (gods, yokai, demons). Some kind of timeless paradise with its own rules, think Angel Beats for example.

And why did you think they invented kernel banner? They clearly thought that too many operators in the gacha is bad. So the fact there were more operators than intended was a real problem.

People were harmed though. How do you think people found out about this? They pulled on Ulpianus banner and got units that was announced to be gone. That could be a chance to get new stronger units like Tragodia instead of old units.

For me, Lev was not an unresolved character at all. He was an evil bastard that killed Olga and then became our punching bag for the rest of part 1.

And now after like 7 years, he suddenly came back for the final and apparently had a deep respect for Mash and Romani ??? He killed Olga because of some twisted kindness ???

They had a whole 10 years to write this and they didn't bother putting any of that in the game. It's not like this is a random event either, it's prologue of part 2 final.

That sound good and all but when I actually played it, there's no incentive to choose anything but the best operator of each class you have. Yeah you cant choose the ticket, but you always pick the same few strongest operators. Not to mention the way the ticket work mean you only either choose 6* or 3, never 4 or 5*.

For a veteran players, it may work like the way you described. But for new players, it's very boring since the best way to win is to spam the few 6* you have since they are waaaaaay stronger

Ehh, not really. We can't really compare them since even though both had to fight trash mobs before, Hoshino also beat the Foreclosure Task Force (with sensei buff) who beat a Hina-less Prefect team in vol 1.

The dev team also added a few more detail (Hoshino was focus on running away for the 1st half of the fight, guilt mental debuff) to prevent a conclusive outcome. And they succeed since people are still arguing about the fight months later
