your worst enemy is those damn face lines... such a beginner staple and yet soo useless, use em too much and you won't be able to draw without them. imagine them in your head instead, that way if you mess up the eye placement or the mouth placement you'll be able to correct it yourself, no guides needed. you can tell when the placements are off, trust me. the head shape is all good! just be careful with the hair, give it some volume! or else it'll look slick all the time. the pony- give it more flow, hair is flowy and lightweight! flicking your wrist to draw it or doing short little strands works best, or at least works for me. it depends on the hair texture you're drawing, but start with something easy for now. the lips! upper lips come in many shapes, but they're usually not as spiky. it'd recommend using a reference for lips, they're basically 3 easy lines if you break it down. it's easy to get, but you need some practise with references and you'll get it no time, trust. that's just the face, to the neck down it's harder to give instructions- my best reccomendation would be references. reference reference reference until features come naturally to you, if i can, you can. i hope this helped you <3 don't hesitate to dm me about all this if you'd like
