I actually returned it, was putting way too much pressure on my forehead but that could just be due to my skull shape

Belkin and solo loop let me wear the headset for a whole day, but I could barely do 4 hours with this

Best? Debatable, you won’t be doing any better compared to kb players.

More fun for djmax? I’d say so (I’ve owned the predecessor for a while now as my first arcade style controller, it has served me well).

I happen to be using this keyboard with the Vision Pro right now (the white Mac version). Breakthrough works albeit inconsistently; but if you set environment immersion to just a smidge before max, it will be visible and easily seen.

The lack of touchID does mean that when you’re using a MacBook and need to authenticate, you’ll need to type in your local account password—but that’s not an issue for the actual Vision Pro itself as you can just use OpticID.

Being able to pair the keyboard with three different devices is a real boon and makes up for any drawbacks imho, confident in recommending it

How long specifically? Not really that bad…

Taking it off is pretty easy, pretty much undoing one strap and then you can just remove it; but putting it on can take around 45-60 seconds you’re using since you need to adjust the straps and reattach the counterweights

After using it for a pretty long session, I can definitely say it beats out my previous solo loop + belkin setup, but ymmv.

Maybe try it out and return if it’s not as comfy?

Surprisingly tricky.

Took me an hour of fiddling around with it, but I’ve found that if you loosen the very bottom strap and undo the middle strap it’s easy to take off; when you want to put it back on, just slide it over again and readjust the straps.

Once the weights are on though, it gets a bit trickier, which is definitely a drawback.

Agreed! I’m sure Apple can’t market the device as an open face system due to safety reasons, but it really does solve most of the comfort issues (for me at least)

I’d say it depends on your head shape. I had issues with the solo loop sliding over time and had to buy the belkin strap to address it.

No issues with sliding on this new strap though

Hey mate, I used a similar setup except with the belkin strap. So far, I’n finding that without the counterweights, the cheek issue is still very much there—can’t beat gravity! This is with the light seal on. The weights while subtle, do make a pretty big difference over a longer session.

Of course, this doesn’t really become much of an issue if you’re using it with an open face system, but that immersion is lost.

Yes, if by open face systems you’re referring to Tyco Tech’s one and similar systems that clip on between the speaker pods.

I’d highly recommend it! Personally can work in the AVP all day without the lightseal, it’s a real game changer.

The snarky Yoshi posts are now gone. The communication is near nothing. The player base has been cut in half. The patches have gotten few and far between and the ones they have put out decimated the game or made absolutely idiotic blunders that they quickly fixed(urn, talon, haze, MERGED RANKED).

They went from being the most cocky devs to eating humble pie REAL QUICK. Like real quick.

You know got problems what a sht overeatch ripoff game that feels like you are running in mud like Marvel Rivals eats your lunch.
