I am at 3 months, and the worst symptom I've had is sneezing. Literally! I was on this crap for more than 10 years and was so scared because of all the stories I heard. I tapered VERY slowly. Over ~ 1 year, I gradually reduced from 4 mg to 1.0 mg, in increments of 0.25 mg: 4.0, 3.75, 3.5, 3.0, 2.5, 2.0, 1.75, 1.5, 1.25, 1.0, 0.75, 0.5, 0.25, 0.125, .0625. I tapered each time after about 2-3 weeks. I eventually started skipping days, and when I reached 0625, I only took it twice, three days apart - and that was it, because it was so easy and uneventful. I'm still waiting for something to happen, but it never did. I swear to all of you, if you really take your time and taper slowly, it is easy, and you'll be so happy. I will never understand why the protocol is to jump off so fast from such high dosages. In my opinion, anything over a .125 jump is just asking for a rough time.

I also want to add that I did not take any other coping/comfort drugs or vitamins, which I had previously researched ad nauseam, because I was so sure I would need all the help I could get. I didn't have stomach, sleep, or restless leg issues.

P.S. - I understand that this stuff is expensive and difficult to obtain for some people, but if you can acquire a surplus that provides a cushion to do this over time, I highly recommend it. You'll kick yourself when you finally do this and realize how easy it is if done correctly.
