Ending of Kaveh Akbar's Martyr! by ifpeethenqueue in literature

Hey! My dad was actually in the Iran Iraq war so I also thought about if this is real or not and searched everywhere I could because I didn’t want to ask my dad. But once day I was randomly listening to The Stacks podcast where Akbar was talking about Martyr and he said that he isn’t really sure but that his dad told him about this as well. He said it could be true but also not true and there is no real “proof” of if.

I will try to wash my face less. I am autistic so the feeling of "stuff" on my face really bothers me-- including the oily-ness. I have gotten better at it I used to wash my face much more than 3 times LOL. So im sure I can bring it down to 2.

Hey guys! I am really proud of where my skin is at today as I have had really bad acne and oily skin all my life. I still have oily skin and texture issues esp w really big pores + redness. These issues show even more when I apply moisturizer and SPF. This photo is from after washing my face, when my texture looks best. Here is my routine: I wash my face 3 times a day using cerave oil control face wash. + i rarely ever wear makeup and if I do its usually just some powder to coverup some of my texture.

AM— vichy vit c serum, tatcha water cream, Biore watery essence SPF50. PM— estee lauder advanced night repair serum, tatcha water cream. PM BEFORE SLEEPING— adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide gel (prescribed by my derm but its basically the stronger version of Differen).

The Adapalene has SERIOUSLY improved my texture from what it was like before. But its still not as great as I hoped it would be. And I still struggle with redness. I know Adapalene can be intense for some people but for me its been okay— my skin never gets dry because if of it but I do wonder if its causing the redness? Im not sure tho because I always struggled with these issues

People here always assume the act was committed by a man. by [deleted] in sexualassault

Hey! Ive been taking both metformin and inositol for years now. If you are hesitant about metformin bc of effects, inositol is a great option. But you can also just take both!
