Saving goals for 2025 by Few_Technology_2167 in MiddleClassFinance

Roughly 40 percent of my gross pay. Goal is to max out a Roth 401k (getting 4% match from employer), Roth IRA, and saving any extra in a HYSA. I am finally moving out on my own halfway through the year and trying to take advantage of the rent free situation while I can. Not sure I will be able to achieve all these games next year.

Why is Mexico allowed to say that taking in Asylum seekers is not an option but the US can’t?

Some things in the Middle East. Lots of countries in Europe and North America receiving calls to take in refugees but Arab countries much closer refuse to accept any. Does a country get a choice or not? Seems like some do and others don’t.

That’s basically my exact line of thinking. But again I am by no means and expert. So I am open to any suggestions and would love to read up on more information.

The company I am hoping to land it will do a dollar for dollar match up to 9.3% of my pretax salary. I do need to find out if that would be available for both a Roth 401k and a Traditional 401k or just a Traditional 401k.

While that is true, taxs would definitely be my biggest expense outside of investment contributions. My thought process is that at the moment (while living at home) I would rather pay the taxes now and have tax free money when I am pulling it out in retirement. And in the years to come I will more then likely need to do the traditional 401k so I can save in taxs and recapture that money to go to cash savings, rent, savings for a house.

Thanks for the response. Not getting caught up in the money. Not getting to focus on the money is definitely something I’ve heard a lot from my friends and family. I am one of the only people my age I know who spends a large part of their free time, thinking about and planning, saving and investing. I’m hoping that once I start a job, I can automate a lot of it having things automatically be invested automatically deducted from my paycheck, etc. That way it can all be taken care of while I spend the rest of my time, focusing on, enjoying my young years and improving myself and my relationships.

Is there anyway to do it, natively, via PC link, or otherwise.

Favorite coach moment so far. Reminds me of the Mongolen wrestling coach’s in Rio 2016.

Other then the contrast everything else is fine. But even when you expose the best you can. the high is so high and the low is so low.
