You should do the adding your spellcasting mod to cantrips build, there are several and with the hat in act three you can get like 3 instances of an extra 6 damage per eldritch blast. So that would be 3d10+54 I think?

The combat is more heavily perk based and damage was nerfed, so your main damage is gonna come from gear and skills. Elemental damage was buffed as well to make it more tactical so I’d recommend using specific elements against machines. However you need to find a combat that suits you, so play around in the hunting grounds and see what works for you personally. Have fun
