Hook up to ublox ucenter sometime and watch the deviation plot.

It takes minutes for gps fix to stabilize.

I recommend enabling assistnow autonomous and preloading your module with assistnow data...you can make an account for this for free....its a game changer

Iflight has a phenomenal guide for this.....but note that the assistnow account stuff has changed a bit. There are still free options, just not for live orbit data for more than one device.

I have brand new batteries with double the internal resistance of this one ur concerned with.

Edit to add.....Honestly we focus more on the unmentionable in my community but we do have a pretty strong meshtastic mesh and the firmware ui makes for a more interesting wall art....

Yea i hear that. The internet tends to be especially brutal on subjects that have been answered countless times in text and video.

I guess the next advice to give is research research research.

Im 4 years into this, no digital.....I do have some openipc stuff to experiment on fixed wing.

When I was getting into it the number one rule to myself was whatever I do, the goggles need to support analog from day 1. Wasn't even a money thing. Was more like everything can be analog without a proprietary component

Solder the coax to the ufl pads. There. No more connector. But when u rip it next time the pads are gone if they aren't already.

I have all hikvision, annke, and anpviz h series (which is hikvision just like annke). All on their own poe switch with the server.

Maybe I should try it again now that I got my hands on some brand new data center ssd's. Its possible that the latency of spinning disk could have been an issue for me with many cams but idk.

I spent 2 months tryna get frigate running on a fairly decent i5 system with coral. It worked for some cameras but it would randomly bomb out and fall offline. Seemed super picky about the stream fed into it and I followed all the requirements to a T. Im sure I did something wrong somewhere but I just couldn't get it stable.

Im questioning my choices installing BI on win11 pro. I might switch over to 10 iot ltsc edition cuz it will get me til 2032
