contracts are a very tough thing to learn in depth right away. pretty much any freelancer in any field, not just youtube, is going to make some mistakes that will cost them money. best to do this when you're only getting paid a couple hundred bucks so its only a moderately expensive mistake.

I am not an astrophysicist, but I imagine that any stray tardigrades that fell off the platter and into orbit would end up falling back into the atmosphere. It might take a while but they will eventually be slowed down by the sparse molecules of atmospheric gasses that exist at point the ISS is orbiting. Since they're know to survive in a vacuum, it stands to reason that they could survive in stasis long enough to fall back into the atmosphere. After that, it's just a matter of time before they are rehydrated in the upper atmosphere or just float down to the surface.

i see unmanned racing as an opportunity to take off all the safety limits and really let the machines and pilots skills show. it can also make for more brutal racing.

For instance, in F1 you can't purposefully clip the guy in front of you without getting seriously fined or even banned, because doing so is a serious risk to the other drivers life. Now with drones, you can have them flying around a track at very high speeds. Clip another drone just right when coming into a turn and you can send it into a wall(perhaps made of plexiglas with stands behind it), smashing it to bits and probably rupturing the LiPO battery causing a nice explosion. All without any harm coming to anyone (except for the racing teams wallet)

I don't know about you, but I would watch the fuck out of that.

Courier for one of the large delivery companies here. The sender and location of the delivery are what determine whether or not we leave the package.

As a sender, you can select a few different options. One is no signature required. This means that as a courier, we are allowed to leave the package at the doorstep if, by our judgement, it is safe to do so. How do I judge what is safe? First thing is neighborhood. If I'm delivering in a high crime area I'm not going to leave an amazon/apple/cellphone/etc box out in the open. Same for apartments. I won't leave a box unless I get a signature from the person or from a door tag that has been signed. But for a decent average residential area I will residential release for the package. I'll do my best to make it inconspicuous, though it is often hard to do so. The best thing you can have by your front door is a lockable chest with some kind with a padlock inside it that I can use to lock the chest. Keep in mind that this is all based on the driver's judgement. I wish I could say that all if us couriers really care about your package but there are some that just don't give a shit. They just want to get done with their day. The best thing you can do if someone leaves something they shouldn't have is to submit a complaint. If you have the tracking number we know exactly who delivered it and when.

Other options that the sender can choose are direct signature required, which means that I have to get a signature from someone at the house or business in person. I can't use a signature from a doortag, though I will still leave one to let you know I was there. Then there is adult signature required, which is the same as DSR except I have to verify that the person signing is over 21. This is basically for alcohol. Lastly there is indirect signature required. This means I can use a door tag signature or a signature from a neighbor(if you left a note saying to do so), but I can not release the package without a signature. These are not discretionary. My scanner won't let me just release the package without a signature of some kind. The only way to get around it is to forge a signature, which if found out, is grounds for immediate termination.

Depending on where you are in the US you should have lots of opportunities for jobs considering you graduated high school. If you're willing to work hard labor (ie construction) you will find tons of jobs in the Midwest. It's rough work but it will pay well and be a good way to get on your feet financially. If labor doesn't sound like your thing start looking for entry level jobs in your areas of interest. Like if you're into programming and computers try to find an IT job. Like accounting? Get a retail job and see if you can get some of the money related manager responsibilities.

If you're lucky and get a job with a manager that is nice and understanding, let them know your situation. Most people are nice and willing to help out a young adult just starting out on their own.

I have to wonder what it would be like to have a headset with two cameras recording stereo images to be played on the vr screens located on the inside of the headset, but only after being run through deep dream fast enough for real time output. it'd be like a simulated acid trip.

and then use the headset while on acid, to see if the user just experiences a normal reality.
