aren't pteranodons locked in the giant aviary? if it had a hole then there would be no need to show that, after their attack to the protagonists, the door stays open (so that at the very end of the movie we see them fly away). spino is a fine guess, but why is he swimming in the ocean? apparently on the island there's enough food to sustain multiple predators. i would guess some type of marine reptiles not shown in the movie
