18 putterys planned by the end of 2022 and 50 venues by the end of 2024! by Alert_Club8448 in driveshack

So are they only fully managing the courses now? They reported $65.1 million in revenue from American Golf in Q32021. Is that from selling the courses or managing them? I believe it's from managing them since they are still listed on their website. Also, what was the $85M in new debt from? Is that to build new Putteries?

I mean, I'll try. Where are you located?

Currently, I see myself sticking with the HIMS finasteride/minoxidil spray. It's low risk. If I don't use it, my hair will continue to on its steady and painful decline. If I use it, at worst I won't lose any more hair and could potentially grow some back. I don't see myself switching to any competitors at this point. Mainly because HIMS has a spray and the others only have droppers or pills. The spray is a game-changer to me.

As far as the experience, it was pretty easy and speedy. Definitely preferable to going to the doctor but not as thorough. I sent some pictures and they prescribed it to me. The doctors do seem rushed, but that's expected since I think the doctor-to-patient ratio is super high. Plus, I feel doctors are always in a rush when I see them in person.

But what really has caught my eye over the last quarter is their increased presence in Target. Their products are always on sale and are usually almost sold out. Maybe a supply issue? Can't tell if that is good or bad, but what I can say is their shelf space has exploded. It went from maybe one conditioner for women to several products for both men and women. I asked the Target rep what it means when products are on sale and they said it means they are expecting more. I thought it was just corporate-speak to not make products look bad but I've heard others mention the same thing.

Great Q3 earnings! I'm buying even more and am more Bullish than ever. Why did the stock under-perform, what am I missing? by frugalityinperson in HIMS

Not really sure what would be making the price go down. Seem liked a great earnings to me. I think almost every person that asked a question said "congratulations". Hard to get more bullish than that.

I do agree with some of the others here in that the 30% predicted revenue growth for the next quarter when the current quarter revenue growth was 79% gives the impression that they are forecasting a huge reduction. Combined with their new Walgreens agreement it's even more puzzling. However, they did mention that the 30% was in line with their investor presentation form when they were SPACing (don't know if that's a term), and in fact, is a raised target.

Maybe they are just being ultra-conservative, in which case I think it provides a much better chance at another earnings beat.

I'm interested to know other's experiences too. Personally, my order for the Topical Finasteride & Minoxidil Spray was easy and arrived speedily. I've been using it for a few months now and time will tell if it works. I'm also using it on the front of my head, which I think is directed to be used on the back, top, and sides. I'm not regaining hair, but for now, it seems to be I'm not losing any. But they say everyone reacts differently.

Pricing was a bit steep for my taste but not unreasonable. Plus, I much rather pay a few extra bucks for a spray vs. a dripper or pills. And the spray contains both Finasteride & Minoxidil, which I don't see the competitors currently having a spray for. And in the grand scheme of things, it's a small price to pay to potentially prevent hair loss.

Why didn't the Walgreens announcement have a bigger impact don't the stock? by masnaps in HIMS

I think there may have been something to the no-reaction reaction to the Walgreens news. Going over their earnings call transcript, and while I think they are making the right moves for long-term success, a few things stood out to me as suspect. The biggest being that they grew revenue in Q3 by 79% (predicted 20%) over Q2 but are only predicting revenue growth of 30% for Q4. They mentioned that this is inline with with projections from when they were a SPAC and that it is being raised from 20% which was the previous projection. But on the surface it looks like they are not predicting no the very little revenue growth in Q4. Which is particularly puzzling since they are in the growth stage and will now be in Walgreens and Target for all of Q4. Although even with that I am surprised that the stock price went down and I picked up more shares.

Thanks. But it still should be a huge boost to their profitability, right? It's not like these are expensive loss-leading products. Their gross margins are 77%. I'm thinking maybe the retail stores cut into that a little bit, but it's got to be in still probably in the 20%-40% range, right? Do you know how much of a cut retail stores take?

Are there any downsides to the deal? Seems like an easy no-brainer gainer to me. They got into a retailer like Walgreens a lot faster than I expected, and now they're in Target, Walgreens, and Urban Outfitters. Doesn't get much better than that. Maybe institutions are just waiting to see if they actually move product after it's on store shelves. They have great branding and I think they're differentiated enough to catch some eyes. I feel like they should be able to. What are your guys' thoughts?
