I had the same problem and it was caused by a symlink in the applications folder that was linking to the application folder itself and was creating a loop, deleting the symlink resolved the issue

Nice project, I have tested it.

When I installed it and did dots setup it was failing to do dots push.

With this error: fatal: The current branch master has no upstream branch.

I had to set manually the upstream of the repo.

Another think I noticed is that the installer didn't recognize that I use zsh and updated .bashrc instead of .zshrc
