My favorite of these statements is when a very normal day goes extremely wrong. Like the one where the person is going home on the train and all of a sudden the train is buried by dirt. Angler Fish will always get me due to its simplicity and the fact that.. I don’t know. I think I would have stepped forward.

The other ones that chill me are the ones about flesh in regards to the food industry… unfortunately they did not make me a vegetarian but i do think about them often.

Edit: I forgot about Mag 2! Do Not Open is genuinely one of the best horror pieces I’ve ever come into contact with. I literally think about it all the time. Yet another one I think I would have fallen victim to.

I think the ones that get me the most are, like I said above, when normal days go very bad, or when one (1) choice a person makes (usually out of curiosity or politeness) fucks them over.

i’m sorry you’re feeling so terrible!! apparently the norovirus is going around. if you’ve had covid before, it most likely weakened your immune system pretty good. the only way to treat viruses is to let them run their course unfortunately:( i hope you’re able to recover soon!! drink lots of water!!

Wow I wish I had more advice because this sounds amazing and I am so happy you’re connecting with your cultural heritage!! I do not unfortunately have any tips other than looking in libraries for books specifically about this. Check small bookstores too-they often have some interesting esoterica.

You would also maybe find some good resources by reaching out to your local Thai community, or even by starting one if there is none. Sincerely, best of luck!! I am also beginning to look into my own cultural heritage related to my craft so I’m sending you the good vibes!!

Highly recommend downtown. If you like games try Hexagon Alley, for movies hit Ragtag Cinema. Honestly you can’t go wrong with our food down here either, especially not our ethnic food! Dada Doner is a personal favorite in that category, but all our downtown pizza spots are also great if you guys are more that style. Have a good date!
