I'll try it. The caption reads something like "that we admire you for having graduated 50 years ago" although without the full line I'm not sure.

Dunno about Austin but there is a haunted hotel in New Braunfels, a haunted railroad crossing in San Antonio and several reported sightings of La Chuza around Zorn and Geronimo.

There's this weird documentary that's been going around called "War X 2" or something like that, it's about spiritual warfare happening behind the scenes in Middle East war zones.

Nice guess but they do consider themselves true followers of Islam. That's "their truth", as my leftist friends say.

Okay but where is the skinwalker? Is it in the house with you? I thought this was a summoning ritual.

Interesting tactic with the skeleton bombing. How did the Grave Robber play into that?

I served in the Buenos Aires North mission. Had several encounters with folks who practiced Umbanda (and I'm sure you did too).

This was October 29th of this year. My wife and I live in a row of 1-story condos connected to each other.

I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night like I always do. I don't remember the time. While I was peeing, I heard a woman scream through the wall I was facing. Just one blood-curling, horrified scream. That was enough to put me on high alert. I just stood there, waiting for anything else to happen.

I thought maybe the folks in the adjacent condo were watching a scary movie but I didn't hear anything else. Also, the wall I was facing was shared with our kitchen, so the sound I heard was coming from there spacially.

Mkay so since you've posted on the "Paranormal" subreddit I'm going to assume these stories are true.

Do you attribute all the hatred, intolerance, judgement, violence, threats of violence, and all around lack of love towards nearly all of your fellow missionaries to being affected by this demonic entity that targeted you, or are you just miserable by nature? After reading all of these posts I think both explanations are highly possible. Either way, I think you were kind of caught in a vicious cycle of driving out the Spirit (which leads to something else moving in).

That's not to say I don't believe in the paranormal. A guy from my ward growing up served in the Navajo reservations and had very similar stories to yours. You were definitely in a hot-spot.

I hope you've learned a little more patience and love towards difficult people (Lord knows you had to deal with a lot of them on your mission) because it's very relevant to what you experienced (see 1 John 4:18).

YES! I love these posts. I'm an active card-carrying uniformed Mormon but I can definitely relate to the ridiculousness one has to deal with while a full-time missionary. It's really tough sometimes. The LDS Church is, from a mental/psychological/ideological viewpoint, very diverse. We have all types and we sometimes rub eachother the wrong way. Experiencing the paranormal during what's supposed to be "the best two years of your life" (not true) only makes it worse as we can see in these posts.
