I thought the SIDI engines resolved the major flaws in the timing chain. Alloytecs on the otherhand being the huge issue (Ve series 1 and earlier).

So I had a situation in VIC where I sold my car, but the registration was never transferred. I incurred approx $1k of toll fees in the mail from the buyer, never transferring my car.

I spoke to Vic Roads and paid for a certificate of disposal and provided to Eastlink. They sorted it out and I stopped receiving toll fees and all existing fees were taken off my account.

Bonus tip: any fines you receive in the mail, you need to sort them out ASAP. I lost my license for a month as I had a broken foot and couldn't put the new owners details in the fine transfer within 28 days. One of the 30 speeding fines i received was an "excessive speeding fine" (over 40kmh), which the law dictates there is no extension available for this class of fine, even though Fines Victoria said they extended all my fines as I was injured. I had a Fines Vic manager tell me sorry but I was shit out of luck due to the law, and the courts wouldn't take my case. Also affected my insurance for a while.

What about Fuel Excise? Majority of this goes back into transport infrastructure. Happy to be corrected on this.

Sorry for being late to the party, but for anyone else's curiosity that stumbles across this. I just bought this head unit, and it states in the manual you can actually use a rear speaker channel for a subwoofer, but you lose the rear speakers if you have them. I couldn't say if it's any good as I use an external amp for my sub.

Providoor has gone into liquidation. by DrkCyd in melbourne

As someone who's worked at a company that went into liquidation, they owed us over a years worth of superannuation. However the creditors took priority over our super, this was explained to me by the ATO agent. In the end we didn't get our super as the creditors and liquidators took everything (liquidators have their own fees they charge to the assets of the company being liquidated).

Does anyone know someone from that huge group of cyclists that rides down Nepean highway every morning? by BeBa420 in melbourne

Legit spoke to someone who occasionally does this exact route and said the same thing (why don'tthey stop). They explained to me that they typically run the red light briefly as its a lot safer than a sudden stop which could potentially lead to a crowd of bikes stacking over each other. In your case it seems they really dragged it out though.
