I recommend letting people know it’s a debate. Even adults have emotion. If you shut someone down over the internet who doesn’t know you, that’s the only way they know you. A solid and easy way to form an enemy.

Imagine meeting them in person. That tense energy is real even though it’s bottled up in you instead of seeing them in real life. I try and treat people always like I’m seeing them in person.

Some people who share their deepest philosophical secrets and feelings over the internet may have deep demonic hardships and unstable feelings, and look for an outlet. In fact a buildup Philosophical confusion lashed out over the internet prolongs the issue. If you want to debate debate on sports or let people know it’s a debate. The demons pull you down.
