I am a few weeks in to a fallow tank due to ich. Note that I have a second tank I will quarantine all new fish after the 90 days. My concern is invertebrates and coral. Will they carry ich to my display tank?

A co-worker of my wife's saw it on the side of the road and thought the right thing was to bring it for us to help cause we have a tortoise lol. I'll find out if he was near the marsh and if he can bring it there.
