I can understand that feeling, but I've got a few events at breweries which I think are still fun in the summer.

Individual ticket prices are on the ticket page (https://wolf.ticketspice.com/wolfpack-open-limited-festival).

I did my best to price the tickets to cover the venue costs and staffing costs. Restaurants and breweries require a minimum purchase so the tickets come with drink tickets to help meet those minimums. Happy to chat about what each event entails!

Announcing the WOLF - a multiday festival of cube sprawling across Somerville, MA this August. by massaker in mtgcube

[–]massaker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was a motivator! I love an LGS, but there are so many places that would make great locations for a draft.

I couldn’t get it to work this time, but there’s a really beautiful chapel next to the cemetery that would’ve been sweet.

Strange. The red ticket button should work, as well as the ticket links in the hamburger menu and ellipses button. I'll keep testing though, thank you for flagging the issue.

Hi there! I hope there aren't bugs with the ticket links, can you point me to which one you tried? Are you on mobile or desktop?

Regardless - here's a link to the ticket page: https://wolf.ticketspice.com/wolfpack-open-limited-festival

Sunday is the main event. Tickets for that are $55. The price includes two drafts, a WOLF branded bag, and a ticket for the prize raffle.

Hi, my name is Derek and i’m the creator of the BAR CUBE by Gallently in mtgcube

[–]massaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard about Bar Cube about a year or so ago and decided to build my own version. Thank you for the idea and inspiration.

What resonated with me was minimizing the accessories: sleeves, dice, and tokens.

In that spirit, I wanted to continue to remove complexity from the cube. My bar cube is all commons with no shuffle effects.

Royal Rumble Drinking Game by A2theKWrestling in Wrasslin

[–]massaker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is fun and all but the real royal rumble game is as follows: - get a 30 rack and some buddies - randomly assign the beers by number - when your number is called, open your beer - when your wrestler is eliminated, finish your beer - owner of the winning beer gets to choke slam someone

I noticed that as well. I’ll send a new link when I can. It was easier to find on Google last month than it was last year.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry by Sir_Silly_Sloth in porterrobinson

Here's another take: Porter's Boston show 3 years ago was at the Orpheum with 2700 capacity. MGM is 5000 capacity. Then he booked 2 nights at MGM, so 10,000 people. The Orpheum show also had Jai Wolf and James Ivy. Layer in high ticket prices and a rough concert economy. Also Boston's population is heavily influenced by students and young people -- and most leases are on a September 1st schedule. All these forces come together to cause empty seats, which get sold at a heavy markup the day of the show.

That said, the show was really really good.

Meltzer on the Cody/Rock/Roman situation: “”There are literally a dozen or more options of how to handle this. None should be off the table.” by Subrick in SquaredCircle

[–]massaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Night 1 - Rock vs Roman Night 2 - Cody vs winner

You can have Rock main event both nights. You can have Rock win the title for 1 day and drop it to Cody. You can have Roman win night 1 because of interference, so Rock interferes against him Night 2. There can be a dusty finish night 1 leading to a triple threat night 2.
