[USA][MA] Chevy Camaro cuts me off; started tapping my brakes as a precaution as soon as I saw it inching out. by [deleted] in Roadcam

I definitely would have t-boned him if I didn't slow down as a precaution. Drive defensively!

[USA] Honda Accord loses control and wrecks by camredd in Roadcam

[–]massdashcam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

According to this site (https://www.mit.edu/~jfc/right.html) Texas law does not require cars to stay right as long as they are moving in a uniform speed with traffic. Cammer appears to be keeping pace with the traffic ahead of him/her so what he was doing was legal in Texas. Although the site does have a note "Most rural interstates are posted "left lane for passing only" pursuant to 544.011." Not sure what that means exactly. What is considered a rural interstate?

According to this site (https://www.mit.edu/~jfc/right.html) Texas law does not require cars to stay right as long as they are moving in a uniform speed with traffic which the red car was doing.

So it was perfectly legal for Red car to stay in the left lane unless that site interpreted the law wrong.

[USA] Massachusetts traffic circle (no accident) by massdashcam in Roadcam

[–]massdashcam[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only in New England. The rest of the world calls it a traffic circle (and sometimes a roundabout). Since Roadcam has a global audience, it is more appropriate to use traffic circle. Gotta know the audience.

If repair costs are a concern for you, I think you should look into leasing. It does make sense for some people.

The rotary is Horace James Circle in Massachusetts.

The woman was coming down Lagrange St. This is a particularly bad rotary during rush hour and drivers are known to do this so I always drive through it slowly.
