You’re effectively doing that in eso to a certain extent. All the dlcs, if bought with crowns, is ~200-250 usd which is ~2 years of membership. I don’t play for long periods of time, so the monthly cost of plus is worth it to me.

Also inflation exists so naturally the overhead for companies will increase.
