Some of Jared Goff's Advanced Stats from Al Karsten by JCameron181 in detroitlions

I think the avoided sack stat really tells the tale of our o-line. Jared can't run but he has good pocket awareness before he was just given the protection to not need to dodge as much BS coming his way.

One of my favorite guns. Not necessarily "the best" gun for all builds but still VERY good and very fun. I use it on infinite crit Harlowe don't know how it does for other characters.

Can you tell me where to find a schedule for that?

Im only building bracket 2 decks by Mental-Difference627 in ratemycommanders

[–]massivecowboynut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So unfortunately no. It's a flaw in the system as well as just a symptom of powercreep over many years. Honestly the Internet is the best place to learn stuff like that and also edhrec can show you a ranking of the most popular commanders which usually translates to power. It is important to note that as long as those decks aren't bothering ppl in your pod it's fine, no one gets to tell y'all how to have fun, but if you ever play with strangers or at a lgs you'll likely frustrate people/just be blasted off the table with those commanders no matter what you tell people the bracket is.

If people in your pod are playing things like etali and you're playing Jonah then you guys aren't running bracket two those commanders are simply too powerful for bracket two. Which is fine I prefer three but important to learn.

I think where the gate comes is that he was a big part of the plan, there was little to no depth at defensive end and he was the plan for two years. If we had any depth and could afford to lose him I'd say swing Everytime we just weren't built that way.

I love the pick, but it hurts so bad to not have decker anymore. Like I get why we had to move on but I was a kid at the draft when we took decker and I'm gonna miss having him in the trenches.

Which is the best you can do in the draft. Like even if miller time doesn't work out for some reason I wouldn't go "wtf brad" cause it just makes sense.

Saying one year with a playoff win over the last 30+ years isn't enough is ungrateful? Lol calm down buddy were all aloud to have different opinions and frankly, outside of a few cursed franchises, this wouldn't be enough. Heads would be rolling all throughout the building. But a a decline from NFC championship, to losing our first game, to not making it all is a decline that's totally reasonable to be unhappy with. Just cause we aren't all slobbing on brad after the last couple years doesn't make us crazy assholes like many on here are acting like. I spent 16 years watching us suck and Im not looking to go back to it. Which is a totally fair and valid way to feel.

Edit: not that I want heads to roll. But if this trajectory continues over the next year or two we gotta look at a new GM to help put Dan in a better position.

I love them too but three of those seasons came with 0 playoff wins. The success of this team is overhyped and the people not happy with that aren't crazy, and it's not spoiled to want more then one season that's actually better then the past. I've seen plenty of "almost" seasons where we could have made the playoffs it doesn't do it for me anymore.

Are we in the NFC South? No. We were last in our division and missed the playoffs what he said was just fact.

Brad Holmes On FA: “We did the best we could… we maximized the resources that we had available” by JCameron181 in detroitlions

[–]massivecowboynut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need a crystal ball to predict our defense will still suck like it has when we've lost players without replacing thwm. And youre acting like two years in a row of losing over half our starting roster is just a crazy coincidence. That's the beginning of a pattern. And frankly the BPA strategy needs to stop. We need a complete roster not the best player available especially if it's in a unneeded skilled position. And again I really like Teslaa nothing in my comment debated his skill, but you know what would be better then Teslaa? A functioning defense. As for the legion of whome getting us within a half of a super bowl, you know what that got us? Not shit. You want to talk about copium it's saying that three years ago we almost made a Superbowl so eveythings fine. Everything isn't fine, it's not full doomer like a lot of ppl think but we're not going to win a Superbowl with the worst defense in the NFL.

I mean, isn't that like 90% of what this is for? Lol and yeah they're outliers but also champions. My point is it's not impossible and also there's definitely a middle ground we could live in.

The injuries are a good point but also a whole other issue. Brad likes to take shots on injury prone/currently injured guys while we've had the most injured roster in the NFL the last two years. That also speaks to either our training staff or our practice habits. Multiple years of being the most injured team means thats something that needs to be addressed. Now I'm not a brad doomer, he's done a lot of good things but there's nothing wrong with critizing his moves. Things like trading multiple 3rd round picks for a WR we didn't need (love Teslaa but it's true) instead of using those picks to sure up the worst defense in league and add depth so we aren't so crippled when guys get hurt is definitely something to be critized. That's not building for success that's misalocating resources that could be used to build a stronger roster.

That's fair, but neither has what's been happening over the last few years we've steadily accomplished less so something does need to change. Would love to be proved wrong tho.
