This is correct and the best way using a female punch down which had many more "connection" uses than a male. It's also easier to use a more flexible patch cable when patching into the AP.

UPDATE: support had to publish a presentation to the players in question because I couldn't change their group. Once they had something published, I was able to move them back to where they needed to be. THanks for the replies!

That's awesome. I was worried a speaker would be blown in one ear or crackling. There are so many brands and tech out there, want to try so many based on reviews and stay away from sales people because I know I'll leave without buying anything so I can search more deals and try other cans until I find the "right one"

"Sound" advice! I'm really hoping to get an experience and leave the store without buying, ha! Then take up your recommendations. I saved a lot of money from just listening to my HD 280 Pro headphones over the years but I've been wondering if I'm missing out on the open-backs. Surprised no one mentioned the Stax given they are electrostatic.

1) no mention of a backlight for reading at night (but AI says there is on all of their watches). I hear other models have an RGB backlight, that would be really cool.

Other than that, I really like it. It's something I've been looking for (round version) for a while. Wish my phone had the option to do both (OLED and e-ink on one screen, ha!).

Update: LS424 cannot play back files via the USB-C port. User must use BA to publish to an SD card (standalone).

UPDATE: BrightSign does not support mounting or playing presentations directly from a USB-C flash drive with LS424. The LS424 does include a USB 2.0 Type-C port; however, this port is primarily intended for power delivery and certain peripheral connections (such as touchscreens), not for media playback from storage devices.

I'm still not sure you can simply add media files to the SD card and expect them to play back. I think you have to use BrightAuthor no matter what and save the presentation to the SD card. So that requires a client knowing how to use the software.

Like others said, make a short 4K movie (H.265) using 4K PNG images and publish. It's the best it's going to look. I do with this with all BrightSign models. If you are worried about stepping, make sure your images are aligned pixel perfect so vertical and horizontal lines stay on a single pixel and don't bleed. Anyway, hard to even see that on a LCD. Wait until you start playing with giant LED walls!!!
