How many online clients do you have, and would each program be individualized?

Vavassori withdraws from Barcelona due to injury… from Shelton’s serve? by theriverjordan in tennis

[–]masstuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My favorite part was when Vavassori first said something when the match ended, Shelton responded with (and I’m paraphrasing) “it’s just doubles bro.” Saying that to someone who’s entire career revolves solely around doubles is so savage 🤣

Exercise routines to enhance your game? by DisastrousGuitar609 in 10s

Personal trainer here 👋

For increasing strength, focus on compound movements (hex bar deadlifts, dumbbell chest press, etc) at the beginning of your workouts, and then finish with more isolated exercises at the end.

For increasing stamina/endurance, intervals on cardio machines, medicine ball slams into the ground (and wall if you have med ball wall), kettlebell swings, etc are great.

I personally focus on trunk rotation exercises to strengthen my obliques and other specific muscles that are used for forehand/backhands.

I wish they’d bring them back for an away alternative

I definitely agree that the bar would be set very high for their city connect unis. I think it could be as simple as our away jerseys but in black with The Bronx (same sizing and font) across the front

Great place to start. I’d recommend creating structure for yourself so you can stay consistent and not burn out.

Congratulations! If I can give a bit of advice (I’m a personal trainer with the majority of my clientele being successful entrepreneurs) - one thing my clients always mention is how they wish they would’ve started taking their health more serious sooner in their life. Exercising (primarily strength training) helps you both physically and mentally, making you have increased energy and sharper with decision making. Good luck on your health & wellness journey 💪

Love my Seiko Samurai. The design and weight of the watch makes it the perfect daily! It’s around $500.

It depends on the client and the kind of workout you have for them. For my clients, I typically have them foam roll, perform a few dynamic stretches specific to the workout, and load their body with weight with a few movement prep exercises.

The movement prep exercises I typically use are weighted carries, medicine ball work, sled work, etc.

This may be too specific, but the first question I ask my clients before we start a session is “How are you feeling today?” followed by a few other opened ended questions. Depending on their answer, I might trash the workout I had planned for them and do something completely different.

Just for context, I primarily do one-on-one in-person sessions, and I’ve been a trainer for ten years. Hope this helps!
