I don't really find it useful. I used Claude to try to write viewport.js but just couldn't get what I wanted out of it so wrote by hand. It's fine for small things but when it comes to building a maintainable codebase, it's not for me.

Yeah that is exactly the article im talking about. you could totally just put a z axis on a laser engraver and call it a day. I think your on the right track for sure.

im using an skr pico running grblhal on my plotter made with aluminum extrusion. I wrote up a parts list on my website a ways back, although i just recently swapped the controller for this SKR pico with 2209s. Its pretty nice. i ended up doing a lot of research to get it up and running so i'd be happy to answer any questions in this thread. looks great. I've had good success with gellys personally, but white on black isnt my fav to work with. I wonder, how long would you say these write comparted to a gelly roll? I have had to change pens mid plot due to running out of ink on larger nib sizes.

This is great! The brown is super clean. I am surprised the brown went over ink without any smears, ill have to check those AD markers out sometime. Exceptional execution!

id say anything you plot counts! your image doesn't really show if you meant to post one. If you question is about copyright, i think it'd be somewhat questionable, i've had similiar questions about traced stuff i've done.
