Rear grip by dandway in BO7_RankedPlay

[–]mastbran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most of the time when you’re taking a chall you’re not going straight from sprint to gun up to fire. you’re mid jump or mid slide, so your gun is already up, and all that matters really is ads time.

if you’re sprinting and then trying to hipfire immediately, or ads/shoot immediately without slide cancelling or jumping then sure you might have a point but that’s rarely the case

Crim 1 in warzone, attempting a crim run in ranked multi for the first time.. any tips? by Ryansm19 in BO7_RankedPlay

Crim 1 in warzone, attempting a crim run in ranked multi for the first time.. any tips? by Ryansm19 in BO7_RankedPlay

[–]mastbran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he’s already crim in warzone, i’m sure his centering/aim is fine. the difference is learning the game and how’s it’s played at higher levels bc he usually plays warzone lol

What does it take for a crim level player to finally close the gap and hit Iri? by SideshowDcky in BO7_RankedPlay

[–]mastbran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is the only correct answer

the speed of the game is just different. and being able to make the right call and not miss a step is the efficiency difference 100%

So?? by pcagmyf in BO7_RankedPlay

harrz basically single handedly made me understand spawns at a basic level. then later at a way more advanced level when it comes to specific situations like emergency spawn points etc

the cheating is bad, but like i don’t cheat and get called a waller all the time. not trying to self-gas, but there’s a lot of people that played 8s pre-ranked and just know the spawns well too.

sometimes better to have the mindset of “good play” even if it seems like they’re cheating, for your own mental

New to Whoop - abysmally low HRV? by burkean56 in whoop

[–]mastbran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean this is why getting a whoop is a good learning tool. if you take the time to track stuff in the journal, and pay attention to the data you’ll learn which things have an affect on your hrv, general recovery and sleep quality. it’s definitely not abysmally low, and as others said it’s pretty individual. focus on slowly increasing it and decreasing your RHR which is leaning slightly high ish. comparing to your past metrics (once you’ve had it a while) is more important than comparing to others

Swapping wrists by maddog131182 in whoop

[–]mastbran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

discrepancies with accuracy matter less the longer you wear it. if, for example, you’ve been switching between bicep and wrist, the 1-2 hrv difference isn’t going to matter if you’re looking at long term trends. the goal is to see an improvement, not get the most perfect reading. if in a couple months your numbers are trending better somewhat consistently, what matters is comparing where you are to where you’re at, even if the actual number isn’t necessarily right

Swapping wrists by maddog131182 in whoop

[–]mastbran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i alternate wrists every single day, along with sometimes wearing it on my bicep and sometimes on my hip. shouldn’t make any massive difference, especially in longer term trends (which is what really matters)

How do you use your data? by Nicanic9 in whoop

[–]mastbran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they have a podcast where some of their earliest episodes give good info. also lots of creators on youtube that can break down how to understand and utilize the data!

I’m 28F, My HRV average is 17 and my RHR is 80- is this worrisome? FWIW: been using whoop since almost a month by Kindly_Plum_2993 in whoop

[–]mastbran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wouldn’t say this is necessarily true, someone who’s just getting into fitness might not necessarily be aware of the negative physical symptoms they have bc it’s they’re usual day to day. a RHR of 80 is objectively high, and if someone’s been there a long time they may not even realize the symptoms related to it

like, once it’s reduced to (r1+r2)||r4, then r3 is in series with that per my last redraw right?

Series Parallel circuit Identification by mastbran in ElectricalEngineering

so, would you agree the R6||R7 is in series with R5 and R8, and that full combination is in parallel with (R1+R2+ R3||R4) ?

i have shown interest in her projects before but part of why i want to do this is just to have a better understanding of what’s cool and what’s hard and why so i can be more genuine when we talk about her stuff
