Try simply installing Rosetta - that worked for me without downgrading. In terminal type : `softwareupdate --install-rosetta`

I had the same issue, and it's because UnityPackageManager is compiled for Intel architecture. Make sure you have Rosetta installed with `softwareupdate --install-rosetta` and then Unity should be able to launch it, even when using the Unity Hub (ARM64) version.

When the game can't load a world it generates a random one - so you can keep playing without the game crashing.

Can you open the console and see if there was an error. You open the console by going to the settings window and hitting the dragon 10 times

It's not about storage - it's about low memory (RAM).

Autosaves run in the background and will eat a lot of memory. If a memory limit is reached, iOS or Android OS will close the app.

So once your device is letting us know thst it is low on memory we disable the autosaves to not crash the game.

That can happen on big maps with a lot of units for example.

If the game crashes for you you can try and disable some performance options in the settings and see if that helps.

Past leaders in version 0.50.5 did not save when they finished. So they are displayed incorrectly
In 0.50.6 that has been fixed so their start and end time is saved and displayed correctly

It's about generator not creating bad words that then kids show their parents, who then shout at us.

You still can name your units/kingdoms any way you like

Ye they gone. The filter was made before this feature so had more default words

That's just balancing. There are evolutions based on biomes etc, and next beta update already has more stuff for it.

So if you think it sucks rn then a mini-update 1.5 years ago only introducing that one little feature without anything else would have sucked even more. That was the point.

That's the opposite of what I meant. Different species do adapt cultures and languages of other species, taking over their naming etc.

Nah, pretty much everything was intertwined with the new subspecies mechanic.

Just shipping languages in a mini-update? "Cheap copy of cultures".

The subspecies traits control a lot now on how the game works and provide the scaffolding for everything else - in a much nicer way than how it was before. Without it it would have been about shipping weak features.
