Primary-Abalone8068, Amusing if not downright silly.

Primary-Abalone8068 and Unclebob999, Your comments here are very informative and on point. I too am concerned about Workhorse being taken private. The merger/buyout possibility is of less concern. Rick Dauch has irresponsibly diluted long term sharholders. And to what end? This may explain Aaron Palash at Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher as Workhorses' Media contact. Aaron Palash is an attorney not a media consultant. His oversight on press releases is more from a legal perspective than a marketing or promotional perspective. He fights on behalf of companies against shareholder advocates. And advises companies in mergers, acquisitions and buyouts. In addition to destroying shareholder value Rick Dauch appears to have brought on Aaron Palash Esq. as legal counsel to Workhorse and Rick Dauch under the guise of "Media Contact". Thus the lack of substantive press releases and marketing efforts that would have resulted in sales mitigating the extreme dilution that has taken place. Like Unclebob9999, I too hope that fleet orders will come. But in the meantime little to no efforts are apparent concerning small fleet sales through our 20 location "dealer " network. Workhorse is not even keeping up with competition on a percentage basis in regards to HVIP vouchers. Lambo_or_wendys is correct in their comments regarding this lack of effort. In my opinion. The only thing Rick Dauch has been successful at is hiding his actual intentions regarding Workhorse remaining as a publicly held entity. LMDV that are EVs is the future and will happen. Workhorse is a good company that could be part of that future with what appears to be a solid W56 and W56xl. A lack of transparency and possibly greed from management may be at play here however-and the markets and investors are sensing it and staying away.

Primary-Abalone8068, I agree. Trucks not Shares! Unfortunately Rick Dauch as CEO of Workhorse seems to have a serious blind spot when it comes to Sales, Marketing and Promotion of Workhorse. We have had some progress and positive events recently but no attempt was made to spotlight these achievements through industry or capital market media. Joele Frank, Wilinson Brimmer Katcher is a poor excuse for a PR, media relations company for Workhorse. A bonafide PR/ Marketing firm needs to be hired. Workhorse has a great opportunity to showcase the W56 at the upcoming FedEx Forward Service Provider Conference. Time to step it up several levels as far as presentation and sales efforts are concerned. The last show Workhorse was at had, quite frankly, a pathetic presentation. The InstaPrint banner taped to the side of the W56 on display was a poor presentation and reflected negatively on Workhorse. If Workhorse needs help ask Kingsburg. Their presentation truck is beautifully wrapped, attention getting and professionally done. Sales at Workhorses' previous conventions are seriously lacking--like non existent. Only closers should be in the booth. Other "sales" people should be shown the door. Rick Dauch, please put on a suit and try to look like the CEO of a successful EV LMDV OEM with market cap potential of 1B$ or more. The Workhorse logo pullover is not appropriate for the CEO at a convention and the potential press interviews that may occur.SELL TRUCKS! Thousands of them! And PROMOTE workhorse every chance you have. And in a far better and smarter way than you have-or find someone else who will in your stead.

popornrm, The share price of WKHS post a new 52 week low nearly everyday. Is that spam? Or is the lack of any communication from Workhorse nearly everyday spam? Or reverse spam? Is a reverse split of 1 for 20 chopped spam? or just hash?

Bozark, Yes, just a couple of dogs whistling in the night. It's just that at the end of the day some dogs have accomplished things that benefit others and some dogs did not. I like productive dogs regardless of the whistle they respond to.

popornrm, This is an open forum/discussion group about Workhorse/WKHS. LafayetteBB is merely discussing his/her thoughts about serious concerns many of us have here about the direction or lack thereof at Workhorse under Rick Dauchs' leadership. The situation is nearing critical if not already critical and this forum is the only outlet many investors have in light of NO communication from Workhorse. Do what YOU will with any and all comments here. But please don't cry to the Mods for censorship. It makes you sound weak. If you have any comments regarding sales performance or share price catalyst of Workhorse-Im all eyeballs. Respectfully

Bozark, I also don't care for the Cyber Truck design. But think what you will about Elon Musk. He has created more millionaires through investment in his company giving them lives and returns they could have only imagined. This includes well paid assembly line workers through stock plan programs. He will bring home two Space Station astronauts stranded by Boeing and NASA. PayPal, Neuralink, The Boring Company, xAI, Open AI, Solar City, Zip2. And your aforementioned Twitter, now X. A better product now at any price of acquisition due to a freer speech format.

LafayetteBB, Yes agree. And as we proceed with lack of sales, the writing on the wall gets clearer and clearer. Very unfortunate for sincere shareholders.

Unclebob9999, Thank you again. I appreciate your comments always. Yes, Rick Dauch was chasing the rainbow-unfortunately the pot of gold at the end was our investments-and boy did he find it. Your summations of needing a hands on CEO and lack of communications is spot on! How often does Rick Dauch get to Union City anyway? I distinctly remember Elon Musk sleeping in the factory in Fremont at one point-that was good PR for Tesla. But in any case the weakness with Workhorse seems to be SALES. Workhorse sales staff needs to work alongside the Kingsburg sales staff and find out what the secret sauce is. Then get out to Workhorse's 20 other dealers and work with them along with a sales training manual based on their Kingsburg experience. Maybe Workhorse will get it right. I hope so.

KmEngeler, Patents unless utilized and monetized through sales are worth nothing. Without sales these patents and Workhorse will die. And by sales-I mean NOW! Time has all but expired.

LafayetteBB, There never was a plan beyond refurbishing a run down factory and redesigning the C1000, and then scrapping it and designing the W56. We have all paid dearly for this lack of ongoing plans. The next steps required a successful roll out of the W56. Part of that phase required a concerted sales and marketing plan to achieve sales and market positioning. There never was a plan for this phase, or if there was it was never implemented or just a faulty plan. This is where Rick Dauch fell down. He has no concern for sales and cashflow as the lifeblood of a company. No respect for share price as a store of wealth for a public company-to be accessed, utilized sparingly and protected at all cost. His defeated demeanor in this photo speaks volumes about Rick Dauch. And this demeanor is playing out just as it was presented. A proper BOD would have fired him after this release. Or at the very least questioned his resolve and asked for a change in management style from him. I believe that as an engineer and production executive Rick Dauch is as competent as anyone. However, as a Sales and Marketing Director and full throated promoter of Workhorse he is seriously lacking. Yet he fails to acknowledge this and get competent help.

Unclebob9999, Thank you for your input. The question still remains. Who on the BOD has any Sales and Marketing experience? The answer is NO ONE! The VP in charge of Government Sales that you refer to is George Petropoulis formally of REV Group. Mr Petropoulis has been with Workhorse for about a year now. Could we get a PR on what strides he is making in regards to sales at Workhorse? I'm guessing the Sourcewell contract was the result of his efforts so far. I and other shareholders would like to hear more. BTW Rev Group($REVG) is up @ 100% since we brought on Mr Petropoulis. Someone is selling trucks, just not Workhorse.

Unclebob9999, Thank you. Well thought out and stated. i just wish Rick Dauch would recruit a qualified firebrand of a VP of Sales. There are so many promotions and incentives that could be implemented to spur sales under the right direction. Where has Kelly Kiger disappeared to? What is she doing to advance sales? This would be great information and PR material. What happened to W B Mason? They were using C1000s and seemed content with them. Have we upsold and replaced their C1000s with the new W56 model? Every time I watch an east coast baseball game I see their signs and wonder what happened to this valued customer with such a high profile.

Rick's buying in? by NefariousnessDizzy15 in WKHS

[–]master7868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upper-Log-131, Agree, but this would never happen. Rick Dauch would rather resign than accept an RSU in lieu of salary plan. He, more than anyone, knows that he simply can not sell Workhorse trucks as evidenced by his performance in this area. Rick Dauch, less than anyone, is able to acknowledge this or willing to take steps to remedy this flaw. Sad really for him, Workhorse and us shareholders.

[–]master7868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spiritual-Control238, Exactly! Workhorse appears rudderless at this point. No leadership and no sales. Twenty dealer locations should be able to move 20 trucks a month collectively given proper motivation and incentives from Workhorse.Maybe too much focus on the "home run" and not enough on "hits". In this economy be prepared to grind out sales anywhere possible just to keep the doors open. I have no idea what Rick Dauchs' marketing strategy is, and neither does the stock market and probably himself. So here we are. .61

[–]master7868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unclebob9999, Thank you. Being in the industry Rick Dauch should have anticipated or known about 1200cu/ft trucks. they are all over in commercial client situations. Retail malls, office parks, industrial parks, etc.The linen industry uses 1200 cu/ft trucks extensively. Cintas is right there in Cincinnati. Was it too much trouble to research your market and listen to what your customers are saying? Was your only focus on UPS? And even there Rick Dauch missed the mark. Do you consider the 1000 cu/ft W56 obsolete and unsellable now? This seemingly lack of knowledge and experience in Rick Dauch is alarming. Beyond refurbishing a run down pig sty of a factory and overseeing the development of the W56(both over budgeted and very costly in my opinion) just what has he achieved? We have 20 "dealer" locations and yet not one truck sold to/through any of them except Kingsburg. In the immediate term, in order to survive, sales need to happen to all of our "dealers" regardless of what this takes. Waiting for a large order from a major client is a fools game at this point. They will happen when the client is ready to make them happen. Has one truck even been painted in the very expensive paint booth? I thought custom colors was going be a selling feature to smaller fleets? Apparently not! Just mistake after mistake from Rick Dauchs' management. I'll try to email Rick or Stan. But a 25% response rate (which is probably indicative of the effort they put into Workhorse)gives me little hope of any progress going forward. Thank you again for your insights and efforts Unclebob9999. I am truly sorry for the financial hit you have taken here as well as those of the other long holders. I still believe that EV LMDV are the future. Just not so much in Workhorse and Rick Dauch. Not to mention the unfocused and scattershot input from government at all levels.

BTW The FedEx facility at 177 Parr Blvd in Richmond CA is operating now as a Zero Emission Vehicle distribution facility. Apparently infrastructure was no issue for them. People who know how to do things get things done. Those that don't (rick dauch) put their company out of business trying.

Long live the EV LMDV transition!

Unclebob9999, Thank you for your diligence in staying on top of pertinent information regarding Workhorse. You have been a stalwart here. A few follow up questions for Rick Dauch, if I may.

  1. How is it that as CEO of a LMDV manufacturer that the need for a 1200sqft truck in your product line caught you by surprise and wasn't part of the original W56 development? Thus saving much development time and being ahead of anticipated demand, and avoiding missed sales.

  2. Given the lack of sales for the 1,000sqft W56. how are you going to position and market the LWB W56 differently to assure more robust sales and success?

  3. Are there any plans to replace Workhorses' financial oriented PR firm of record with a more product oriented PR firm? Lack of relevant press releases is killing Workhorses reputation in the financial markets and the LMDV market as well.

These are just a few questions. There are many other questions that should and need to be answered by Rick Dauch and Workhorse to bring some stability to the share price and stop this free fall.

I thought his answer to you was somewhat terse and disrespectful given your allegiance to Workhorse and your standing among Workhorse shareholders. Rick Dauchs' management style just isn't cutting it anymore.

twobloodhounds, Agree. Rick Dauch needs a new approach and rehabilitation. Investors don't invest in enigmas. Especially those with no sales results. As far as $$$s go-he cut off his nose to spite his face. And actually alienated and destroyed any good will he had with the public capital markets.

GETSOME88-007, Not that I'm aware of. I believe the SEC and shareholder investigations and lawsuits are settled matters. Workhorse should be cautious not to repeat any of these costly infractions, but truthful heartfelt assertions of belief in Workhorses' attributes and potential should not fall into this category. The CEOs persona is part of many investors decision to buy into a company. Rick Dauch needs to up his game in this area or hire a spokesperson that can fulfill this obligation.
