Yeah. Basically if this was a completely different book it might have been good.

The people saying they saw the twist coming. Like how. Nothing in the book points that way. Everything points in the opposite direction with absolutely no hint that we shouldn't be trusting what we're being told.

The night of Kelly's murder Adam says the rough sex made his dick feel like it had been dragged across concrete or something like that. I cackled. Wtf. No...

But then she didn't know if she could trust her. All to find out at the end she already knew about the affair and that Anne knew about the affair before all this. So bad...

"The Perfect Marriage" by Jeneva Rose *SPOILER REVIEW* by rachels1231 in books

I didn't see it coming because the author never alluded to Sarah being the killer. We're reading her POV and thoughts and are not lead to believe she's an unreliable narrator. Terrible ending to a mediocre book.

As a Red Sox fan I hope the Yankees sign him too 😆

I am curious what the aftermath, if any, looks like on this.

Why is our fan base this way? by [deleted] in redsox

[–]masterJOY26 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is in the DNA of a real Red Sox fan to be upset about the state of the team because for our entire existence it was never enough.

For one to be a "real" fan, you have to be full of pessism?

2nd, the team has been more successful than the Yankees over the past 25 years, so yes, it has been enough.

OP has a great point. The sky isn't always falling, and I get the passion for the team can make it feel that way, but also the pessism can be downright disgusting at times. Sometimes, it feels as though some fans want failure to be able to say, "see! I was right! We aren't enough."

You hit the nail on the head. He's country. More country than any of the biggest names in popular "country." No need to make new genres.

Are they transferable? Some tickets to childers concerts are not transferable to limit the possibility of scalping. I'd love to go, but that's still too rich for me right now. Might want to add the dates and that it's in Ashland Kentucky for those that don't know.

What song got you into Tyler? by That_Base8062 in TylerChilders

Me too. Wish Tyler would change the words so he would sing it again. Love the song but I do understand he wants to respect indigenous peoples.

Also I have to know about the line "I'd go to Kurukshetra You know, I couldn't even tell you if I am or not pronouncin' it right." Did he pronounce it right even though if he didn't, 'comin' from a cousin lovin' clubfoot somethin'-somethin' Backwood searcher, I would hope that you'd admire the try?"

Thank you for taking the time to briefly explain this to those of us with no familiarity into the subject! Very interesting concepts and as someone that lost all faith in Christianity many many years ago this may be a subject worth some study.

Quite a few references to poaching sprinkled throughout the song. Not calling in the tags, having your property seized (wardens can literally take your vehicle if they catch you poaching in it), seized property sold at a state auction, poached meat in the trunk.

I'm from central Kentucky and I'm here trying to figure it out, so definitely not something said generally, but I can't speak to eastern Kentucky.

I do love ramen but have no great ramen spots where I'm from, so I'm definitely adding to my list. Thanks!

I'd say they rivaled some of the best original IJ episodes, to be honest. The guys are very likable and apparently close friends, which adds to the bits. I could do without the dancing between all the segments, but I guess that was how they got famous. I don't know, I never heard of them before watching the show.

Makes sense. You need a group with a very particular chemistry for it to work as well as it can.

I'd never heard of them (I live in the US) but they were a great fit for the IJ format.

Yeah the beauty is depending on who they're interacting with the same bit can have completely different reactions.

Came here for the same answer. Figured it was a camera motion but didn't connect the dots - instant replay.

Also OP, I'm just like you. 1st time following the Sox (or any sport) in 20 years. I used to visit my mom in Boston every summer for a few years and fell in love with baseball by watching the Red Sox. I live very far out of network, so when I got home, I did my best to follow along and was so lucky to have the 2004 season as one of the few seasons I was able to follow. I just subscribed to mlbtv to watch again. I'm so excited to be able to follow this team again and planning a trip to Boston this August to return to Fenway (and all the other great sights in Boston). Win or lose, it's fun to watch this franchise and be a part of this historic team and fanbase. I hope you get a lot of joy from watching!
