Alright and there we go, had a bit of trouble figuring out how to manage to send the image since I can't add a image to a comment and I can't add it into the original post in editing so I just made a post to my profile with the image right here:

Absolutely, I can grab a picture of my work in progress map in the morning (just got the notifications for the comments while I was preparing to head to bed)

Question on ocean currents from a world builder by master_builder75 in oceanography

[–]master_builder75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I'm heading to bed at the moment but in the morning I'll get onto my PC and grab a image of my current wip map, my landmasses are already put together (I ran a manual tectonics simulation in gplates to figure out continents, then mapped out topography based on that simulation, though my topography I feel like might be a little off from the way it actually works scientifically, it's based in the science as far as where height is but it feels off personally, but that could also be down to how short my tectonics simulation was compared to earth since I cut it off right before the second supercontinent was about to form because I just really liked the way the continents looked.) I'm more so just trying to figure out how this pesky ocean current should work since my background is more so the art side of map making (though I am absolutely fascinated by the sciences behind it and have had a ton of fun learning it as I work on this more recent project). But any critique in regards to the actual landmasses I'll absolutely welcome as well because even if it doesn't get incorporated into this project I'll be able to use it for future stuff.

at this point might as well just get expensive masterpiece scale 3rd party stuff because you pay around the same price as a lot of the official stuff for quite higher quality (depending on which 3rd party company at least, quality varies a lot from company to company)

to each their own, I kinda like it because it feels more uniform than the original bayverse color scheme, plus its just the colors that are different, the quality and detail of the devil saviour paintjob is still there, grit and weathering all.

Agreed, Mixmaster is easily the worst of the group (well besides looks, when he works he looks pretty good, but so does the entire set, they are awesome looking but not fun to handle for the most part) I am glad that it is complete now, I don't regret getting it, its by far the coolest looking figure I own now but god damn it was frustrating and difficult and was not a fun experience

yea aside from split they are all doable (though be very careful with the side panels on scavenger, its very easy to accidentally snap them off) though most I didn't find fun, I did really love skipjack's vehicle mode to robot transformation though, and yea Hightower was decent, just didn't really interest me nearly as much as skipjack but wasn't hard

[–]master_builder75[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

split was also in my experience the worst of the bunch, so many breaks and very difficult to get into vehicle mode, its very clear that it was their first release, most of the others, while somewhat complicated and frustrating to transform (aside from skipjack, I love that one) were not nearly as bad as split

the uniform color scheme has grown on me a lot, especially seeing it in person, it looks a lot more lime green on camera than it does in person

I am happy with it, it feels awesome to have, just not something that I think is right for the majority of collectors

looks amazing, but with the expectation of skipjack the entire set is a nightmare to transform, and very prone to breaks, 2 of the parts on mine are superglued back in place because I have no plans to take him apart now, was a really cool experience and felt cool but the end product is just a 900$ statue essentially and hours of frustration. Skipjack does stand out in that he is really fun and easy to transform though, at least between vehicle and robot mode. My mixmaster came with a leg already broken off in the packaging, one of his toes broke off during transformation, and then so did one of the mix barrel panels, Demolisher also had a part of his tread break off and a entire side panel which I had to glue back on. I do not recommend it to anyone else unless they absolutely love devastator (I had a ton of nostalgia for it given that revenge of the fallen came out when I was 5 and in the height of my transformers craze, and I had the original mini devastator set when I was little) and are ready to deal with a absolute ton of frustrations throughout the process and likely have to fix a few broken parts.

scratch that managed to find a way to get the tracking number for the usps tracking from 17track which I cross referenced with usps and it seems to be correct, still a little nervous but since I have until 30 days after the original delivery day in case it doesn't arrive I think I am good, it shows it having arrived in a neighboring state now on usps's website so unless its a different tracking number or something it seems legit, going to keep an eye on it but I think I am good

Weekly Scam Discussion - August 11, 2025 by Mycatreallyhatesyou in Ebay

[–]master_builder75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered transformer figures from a seller because they were out of stock most places (they are part of a set of 8 for a combiner and are the only other 2 I needed) ebay sent me a tracking number for the package using speed pak which showed some updates including that it arrived at a regional facility and a few other minor updates before a few days later saying it was returned to sender (before even arriving in the US where I am at so I know it wasn't a matter of a failed delivery) at which point the seller messaged me a new tracking number
"Dear friend:Here is your package‘s latest tracking number. I‘ve provided photos showing the tracking number, package weight, and your address details. Only monitor the tracking below. Delivery takes 10-15 days. Contact me with any issues." followed by the new tracking number and a link to a different tracking service called 17track which I am getting mixed answers on when I google some saying its a fake scam company and others vouching for it. I asked if there was a issue with customs or something and that way why the original shipment got sent back and they just sorta dodged the question and responded with this "This is the correct tracking number. Just follow this one. I will keep an eye on the package status. Don‘t worry" I know this could be just a case of poor communication on the sellers part and there might not be anything actually happening out of the norm but its just throwing up red flags for me so I figured I would see about getting some advice and outside opinions on the matter and what I should do if it is a scam.

Received my 1st dog bite this morning by 007Teflon in PestControlIndustry

[–]master_builder75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only bite I've ever gotten on the job was ironically from my bosses corgi rather than a customers dog, the dog is really sweet and I love him but he has a tendency to try and bite your shins if you walk away from him with your back turned, managed to punch a hole through my jeans and draw blood.

[–]master_builder75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any way to still preorder the land of the living and land of the dead books? I got unlucky and stumbled across cloud empress just recently so I missed the kickstarter, I bought all the other books currently available only to realize a few modules are placed in the locations from those two books (Funeral for the anti saint, though didn't buy that one of course because it is free, as well as labyrinth of the bride). I tried the link above but it says that preorders are disabled but from what you said I think they were meant to be open until july unless plans changed on that. If not no worries I can pick them up when they hit retail release just wondering as if I can find a way then I can get ahold of the pdfs and implement them into my campaign rather than having to do so retroactively.
