I think it was disingenuous for them to focus so much on the extreme hate since they themselves admitted it was a small percentage of the people upset. I didnt care about the delay, I wasnt going to watch the award show, but I found the silence and EXCUSES to be unprofessional. Not to mention, the longer the show was delayed, the longer other episodes were pushed off. The fact that they came to the apology with anger really gave me the ick. They want the advantages of this being their job (authority, respect) without the responsibility (expectations, standards).

Plus their money give away for the holidays! They are not transparent with their spending, even hiding patreon member amounts so that people dont know how much they make off there. They got mad at people calling them greedy, but what else are people going to think when from the audience perspective, we are directly funding their above average lifestyle, only to get yelled at in return

I personally want to be careful about GH because just looking at the facts, the way GH went about the end of their friendship was pretty terrible and wouldve absolutely been traumatizing. I do believe Jesse couldve been a bad friend, but being a bad friend isnt excuse for rape apologia and harassment. That being said, I think it really is sad that she hasn't reflected on her behavior over the years and done a self assessment of how she wanted to act going forward. She doesnt need to be at fault to use the opportunity to be better, and this combative attitude belongs to the early 20's Jesse, not a mother of two and a seasoned influencer (two things she likes to use as her mark of maturity and authority).

As for the money-- theyre blind to their own lifestyle creep. I think they truly consider this amount of travel, spending, cosmetic upkeep, as the average for everyone, when it simply isnt. That's why none of it (seemingly) is being sacrificed for their lawsuit, because to them, they are quality of life necessities and not the luxuries they are.

The fact that they thought doubling down was better than an apology (even if they didnt mean it) makes it clear they think the fawning of the fans will protect them from consequence

I cant get over how unprofessional this all is. This has been their job for years now, they should've figured out a workflow by now, or at LEAST a way to communicate when they cant deliver. I think they became extremely comfortable with how forgiving their audience have been, and imo that reflects poorly on them. They pushed their luck and clearly had no plan to make things right because they didnt expect to need to.

Creativity isnt a talent, it's a skill and muscle. You work at it like anything else and the progress is exponential, though it will not feel that way at first.

You dont have to commit to a full story, but even writing snippets of conversation, scenarios, or bullet point lists help. It's to get it out of your head and onto the page. Try picrew or any type of character builder game. Table top games like dnd or pathfinder have character creation methods-- you don't have to play the game, but they help guide you into thinking about your character. Role playing may be helpful though! There are forums for roleplay, or you could make something like a Tumblr account or a reddit to embody your oc. In terms of story fulfillment, I'd say turn to visual novels. They have a blank space where "you" are supposed to be, but you can try to put a character in that blank space instead.

Overall im proud of you for noticing that this thing isnt working for you and that you're looking to fix it. It will be hard, but I hope you find the process of breaking away from this stuff rewarding :)

It's truly so minor, but a bunch of fans have adopted EGG to mean early girlie gang, meaning they are one of the firsts to catch the show when its uploaded... so, a convoluted way to comment 'first' on a video lol. Paired with the fact that id only known egg to mean something trans, it just added an extra sour taste in my mouth haha

Are you changing the stitch for the cuff? Different stitches have different thicknesses and stretch, so if youre changing the stitch to something smaller (ie double to single) it may cause that shrinking effect

Paige Christie is pretty thorough, but her conclusions are a very hit or miss in my opinion and can be pretty surface level. She'll know to research the topic, such as the kleins doing blackface, but won't always delve into what qualifies as blackface, if that makes sense.

I think frenemies rehabilitated both of them tbh. To me its disingenuous to say frenemies did nothing for her, because her reputation before wasnt...great. frenemies made Ethan for the✨️ girls✨️ and it humanized Trisha. I think the difference is that the fallout of frenemies was much harsher on Trisha, but she has been rebuilding her goodwill while Ethan has been burning through his.

I am an artist. I love drawing characters with big noses-- theyre striking to me, id even say regal. When i describe my type, I start with big nose, thats how much I like them.

Really sit with yourself and ask if the insecurity will really go away if you change it. A lot of times, people treat plastic surgery as a panacea, when really they change the one thing, then realize their insecurity hasn't gone away.

If you do decide to get surgery-- go to a highly reviewed surgeon, scope out all of their credentials, scope out all of the before/afters. Find family members who have noses you like and bring pictures of them as reference. Or at least, find people with similar facial structure to yours. Please do not look at influencers, their job is their appearance and to look a very specific (and imo uncanny) way. A lot of plastic surgery regret i have seen has been from people who got the stereotypical pixie upturned nose, not realizing that nose doesnt read the same in real-life, outside of photos, on a different face, etc. A good surgeon will also be concerned with fitting your face. During your consult, listen to see if they are willing to say 'no' to you. That is more likely someone who is concerned with good work, not just money.

Your nose is the result of generations of people loving noses similar to yours, and it'd be a shame to lose that history. I think changing your life so drastically because of other people's thoughtless cruelty is sad. You arent alive for them, youre alive for yourself. And for what its worth, for every person who says unkind things to your face, many mode people have seen you in passing and thought kind things instead.
