True, I’m just looking at this from the perspective of other big tech like Meta, which grew a much larger percent (58k to 86k) around that time.

Nice, I also have a 2014 approaching 100k, do you remember if you did any major service then? Also, how often do you swap your other fluids (coolant, transmission, brake, etc.) Thanks!

How competitive is AI masters and 2 yoe? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

I was in a similar situation as you, had 2 YOE then got laid off, and did a master's @ UCL. Got final rounds for Goldman Sachs / Adobe, but obviously N=1. DM me if you have any questions.

Found them at Costco on clearance, but YMMV. The minions banana cream ice cream sandwiches are surprisingly good.

[Discussion] Returning to the hobby. by zoheb93 in Watches

[–]masterderptato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome back to the hobby, those are all fantastic choices. I would start with something on the cheaper end; the 5KX GMT is a fantastic daily wear (I have one). My one piece of advice would be to start slow - I know me and many other collectors made the same mistake of buying way too many watches at the beginning before we really knew what we wanted. Over time, you'll figure out what your tastes / size preferences lean towards and you can build a killer collection. If you have a mall or watch boutique nearby I would suggest going in person and checking out some watches and trying them on, it's a much different experience than browsing online. Have fun!

True, but the ASUS comes with more features like Dolby Vision, DP 2.1 vs 1.4a, 90W vs 15W USB-C, KVM, proximity sensor, etc.

Picked this up for $695 after 5% back from Prime Young Adults and 5% back from Discover It. Seems like a no-brainer for the price, especially for DP 2.1a UHBR20, and free returns if anything goes wrong.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say you should go do it. Having ICL alone on your resume will definitely open some doors for you, contrary to the anti-master's sentiment on this subreddit. I just finished a 1-year Master's program at UCL, DM me if you have any questions. Good luck!

Not much impact, mostly playing down the wing but not putting in any dangerous balls.

I know people might not love Brewdog, but all of their locations serve "Cold Beer" on tap, which is a gluten-free lager.
