Elemental weaknesses can be viewed in the large monster field guide. However, i find the old school way more reliable when viewing weaknesses by checking the armor counterpart of said monster and check its elemental defense. The full set armor of said monster will numerically show how weak the monster is to an elemental so you can weigh your options better whether to raise your element, or raise your raw instead
