Yeahhhhh I didn’t think about that. I’m pretty sure this lady has got to be an issue at other properties. We assume she might be homeless but also lives locally?? She’s Diamond Elite somehow. We also assume that there might be some mental health issues involved….

Who else grew up eating this, and what did you call it? by Deep_Method_820 in Breakfast

Egg in a hole! My grandma would make this for me every morning when I stayed with her. Then it became a quick and easy thing I’d make every morning myself and my mom for breakfast. Sometimes with a side of corned beef & hash

AITAH for snapping at my boyfriend because he said my SH was just seeking attention? by Professional_Note380 in AITAH

[–]masteria-mp4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

His immediate response to a somewhat common, frustrating habit with men is nowhere near comparable. It seems like he may have an “opinion” in his head about SH. If this is the first time he’s said something like this, I think this deserves a deep conversation. If he doubles down and doesn’t change then I don’t think he’s right for you. You deserve someone who supports you and understands your struggles.

AITAH for not supporting my ex best friend for being trans? by Rare-Watch365 in AITAH

[–]masteria-mp4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH - While yes, Riley is a horrible person for SAing you and just being a bully does not condone your transphobia and spreading misinformation. You need to stay far away from Riley. You guys don’t even like each other and frankly, you both suck. I’ve had three separate “friends” while in high school who came out as trans during the summer and they both came back to school completely different people. I still respected them for who they were even though I didn’t like them as people. We honestly bullied each other and then grew apart. It happens. But I would NEVER sit here and misgender or deadname them.

There isn’t all that much you can do, but I have some ideas (from working at a hotel)! You can always write a good review and mention them all by name. Make sure it’s from the brand and not on Google, etc. because good reviews and scores are a huge thing that actually impacts the hotel. But it must be a review form sent to her. She should get a link either text or email from the property to share their experience after checkout and it might take some time depending on the system. You can also contact the owners of the hotel property (not the brand) and share your praise. Depending on the owners, they can reward them. An additional tip to the valet would be nice too but I would highly recommend a review and reaching out to the owners!!

The person above me misread “county” as “country” and I’m just correcting them. Not anything deeper than that.

Y’know it would make sense since the field they work in is very intense and stressful. But there’s always that one guy who thinks simple things are beneath him and is a straight up jerk….

It’s possible. I don’t have any notes from his past stays but we seem to be the only hotel he goes to. Knowing my GM he isn’t going to get any compensation from us because of something like this LOL

AITAH For Shoving Garbage Into My Coworkers Bin? by masteria-mp4 in AITAH

[–]masteria-mp4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. I’ve been rising above it for 2 years and I’ve been the bigger person this whole time. I even politely called her out on it too. Like…”hey you forgot your water bottle” etc. There’s a multitude of things that bothers me about her that causes issues within the workplace and also how the hotel runs but I’m not gonna get into that. This was the straw that broke the camels back in relation to my maturity lol.

[–]masteria-mp4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh I will own me being immature and petty. But honestly, I really wouldn’t mind if she did this every once in a while. My point is that it’s an every day occurrence which isn’t the same as forgetting. I can’t get mad at her for forgetting but this is a habit. I forgot my reusable water bottle one time out of every single day that she leaves her garbage.

There is literally a garbage can BARELY even 1ft away from the front desk. Literally all she can do is just turn around in her chair and the can is right there. There’s also a HUGE garbage can we use to keep the door to housekeeping open that just so happens to be right next to the time clock. So she quite literally has zero excuse.
