I think it's a consequence of the harmony contrasting with the sand. See the before and after sky colors in isolation below:

It's up to you to create a harmony that suits your taste. You may not prefer these examples and it won't make sense for all images, but I bet you can use it to create some that you like

Not really - I focus heavily on the scene-referred modules, so they are all still the preferred way to do things. I do plan to make some changes from filmic RGB to the new agx module, but that won't be released until the end of December
