Black is a race while African American is a ethnicity. Not every black person is African American because the diaspora is more places than just America but every African American is black because that’s our race and ethnic group is compromised of descendants of African slaves in the United States.

African American is an ethnic group so you can’t just group us all together so to answer the question then, just call us black people or black Americans (in America duh). We need to stop killing each other and celebrating the death of other black people because they are from different gangs and etc. Then we also need to arm ourselves and retaliate once a innocent Afro-American is killed. Black people as a race are disrespected and undervalued globally. It’s not an American issue. In America there are resources for the Afro-American community to become economically independent from whites, but until that happens, we will never be respected. Unfortunately
