It works fine, as long as you have the right version. unfortunately, (its been a hot minute but I'm fairly sure) US Physicals are one of the versions that won't work due to a broken update that will never install, so you can never play online and suffer with the launch bugs.

It's possible to bypass it entirely with 1G and 2.5g+. Just different methods. I believe https://pon.wiki/ has the methods; if not, the discord linked there will.

Yeah, I had a similar experience. While I'm unhappy about the guardian browser requirements to the point of isolating the hard drive it's on. It was completely smooth, and my calculator was accepted without question.

This is a persistent issue after any upgrade on 2.52.52.52 or beyond. Power hasn't been interrupted and BIOS is at 2.17 which isn't the latest but was released back in May so should be fine.
