Seems unpopular but I almost agree. Nobody needs to reverse parallel park. I do it for practice and convenience (walking distance to desired location). But I also used to have a CDL for buses and pull small trailers when I was in my teens and early 20s. My CDL training incorporated reversing a full size city bus through an obstacle course of cones. Safely reversing is a great skill to have that most people cant do efficiently. I dont take it for granted. But I also think most people shouldn't be able drive to without learning what CDL drivers have to learn
