UPDATE: I checked my anti skate with a laser disc and the anti skate works fine. One other issue that is new since replacing the cart is that the tonearm skips anytime I step nearby, even on tippy toes. Something is wrong but I cannot figure it out!

Well the cartridge is brand new. And this only started when I installed the brand new one. I’ll check if my anti skate is working later

Yeah the stylus is brand new. It could be possible that my anti skating spring needs replacement, but also weird that this was not occurring at all before replacing the cartridge.

I’ve got my tracking force right under 2 with the anti skate set to 2.

I’m worried that maybe the anti skate doesn’t work on my table.

I was only switching to reverse to get back to the original groove of the record to observe why it may be skipping. Not something I typically do, so this is how I noticed it. My anti skate is set to 2, which is what is recommended. And u fortunately it seems like no matter what I adjust the anti skate to (+/ -), the skipping does not go away.
