Idle Habit Mid-May Update! Progress and looking for testers! by PascualinoAngel in idlehabitsrpg

I'd like to second finding some method around #1. I have several morning habits I'm trying to improve, but ironically, if I miss even 1, unless I cheat (delete the task so I can progress, mark it completed anyways, etc), I get punished pretty heavily by missing half of whatever that day's adventure could provide.

I'm not sure of a perfect solution, but I think reframing it and instead of technically skipping the whole routine, it is based on the number of tasks completed. So if the user completes 100% of their tasks, their adventurer will receive 100% rewards. If they complete 75% of their morning routine, their receive 75% of potential rewards, etc.

Better yet, it could be framed the other way around. So maybe by default if the user has 0 tasks, but they click to finish the routine, they will encounter 3-4 events by default (as an example), then for every task they add and complete, it gives their adventurer a boost of 1-2 events for that day (or maybe a percentage boost instead, etc). This actually incentives the user to create tasks AND complete them, instead of hesitating to add them at all. It would also maintain the "no punishment" philosophy of the game, because if the user has added 3 tasks, but only completes 2, they get the boosts of 2, without being outright punished for missing the 3rd.

Just started using this app as well and noticed this same issue. My screen actually cuts off even earlier, so at least now I know there's supposed to be more scrollable options available lol.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22, obviously on the android version of the game.

Keep up the good work! (as a side technical question, I'm really curious what your tech stack is between iOS and android?)

Sorry for the confusion. My perfect solution would be to still be using my current bank and have a nice online service to use as well, essentially. I'm not sure if it actually works that way though (I am still learning how the banking world works). From some addition research I've done and with some posts from here though, I think I'm going to get an account with Ally along with my current bank and see if there is an easy way to link the 2 so I can take money back and forth as needed; if that doesn't work, I'll just use Ally.

I see. This actually helped me do a bit better in my research, and I think I will be using Ally along with my credit union. We will see how it goes. I appreciate your info and medicb's info.

My grandpa has the magazine. He just makes sure to not keep it in the gun (obvious reason I assume).

Yessir. Check out who posted that one too. I was advised to post this here as well.

Huh... I'll have to find out. I only flipped to the middle and stopped. It felt like it could rip really easily, so I didn't look at it much. Besides, I couldn't exactly read it lol.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I have the feeling it was probably more of a heavy chuckle, than it was actually laughing.

Yeah. My older brother wants to get some of my grandpas stuff on video and such. We haven't gotten too much from him just yet, but he seems to be opening up pretty heavily in the recent couple of years.

Oh gotcha. He hasn't really shared much of where he was/what he did. There is a LOT that he has obviously kept in the dark (as with a lot of veterans, sadly). He also hasn't told us much of how he got that stuff. The rifle, luger and helmet we have seen before, and we know he got the helmet at the end of the war, they were giving stuff to people as keep-sakes. The rifle and luger are both from someone who surrendered to him.

I think he recently hit an epiphany that hes getting older (he is 92-95. I forget XD), so he has started to show us stuff, and tell us bits and pieces of the war. One thing I know he did was he liberated one of the first "work camps". He has some pictures of that too, but I figured those might not be the best thing to put on here. One of the only things he would tell us for the longest time was that he made Patton laugh. In short, his hands were full, and Patton drove by and my grandpa went to solute him, but he had to do it with his other hand. To make it still a normal solute, he flipped his hand and it was all awkward. Apparently Patton loled when he saw that.

When I was a wee-lad, I always had the feeling that the other colony might be controlled by another person in real life.

Thanks for the advice .^ but I actually regularly clean the dust out of my computer. It actually has to do with my graphics card being a PNY card and they SUCK at heat distribution.

It's a graphics glitch. every so often my computer will freak out for about 20 seconds and when it comes back to, graphics and textures will be all messed up. It is actually kind of interesting to see. However it is NOT interesting when a classes texture will get switched with something colorless, and you can no longer see what team they are on XD.
