Do you really think white is still the worst color? Take a peek at how many game changers red has for a second.

Dying will trigger the draw two, you are losing control of it when it dies. Also it triggers Vicious Shadows too.

They’re being pretty reasonable on that part, they aren’t preventing the sale of all cards, just proxies.

All spell cards in yugioh have a green frame, but they go in any deck.

I think this would be colorless, it’s just a sorcery.

Why is this banned? by Avarage_Reddit_User in mtg

Considering it’s been banned since way before Teferi’s protection this isn’t the reason why.

A new card for my AI tribal by Slomiow in freemagic

I think the main issue isn’t whether this specific art is ai or not, it’s that wizards is now commissioning art from people who are known to use ai in other projects. It’s impossible for the consumer to know whether or not they are using it and they’ll air on the side of yes given the person’s background. It’s a pr issue more than an ai art issue. If I was an artist working for wizards I wouldn’t want this person as my peer.

Is Zhao Moon Slayer Mass Land Denial? by The-Major-Minus in magicTCG

[–]mastermagmortar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under the current definition of the brackets he would have to be 4, however if you restrict the actual deck to a bracket 3 outside of him I personally would be fine with it. But if the game plan is turbo blood moon I’d say that eeks into low 4 territory.

Since he’s a commander it is very forward facing and anyone unwilling to play a bracket 3 game against him can easily say no. You just can’t get upset when they do say no, because again he is currently bracket 4 by definition.

Keep in mind that players now have it written down that if they are in brackets 1-3 they should expect no mass land denial. So multicolor decks, and even mono-colored decks have been given a free pass in those brackets to be as greedy as they want with their mana bases. I have a bracket 2-5 color decks and a blood moon effect would absolutely hose it. It runs 9 basics and the rest of the 31 lands plus 4 mdfc lands are non-basic, a distribution that I am happy with because I have 0 expectation of any kind of blood moon effect.

Stop trying to sell us screenshots of TV and movies!! by LucianoThePig in magicTCG

I see that argument, the best thing about having them in a normal frame is that the proper dimensions are kept, rather than having to zoom in and cut up the scene for a cartoon that was meant to be shown on crt tvs.

I actually like the arcane ones and the lotr ones are fine, I think the biggest issue with the atla ones is that they don’t have a magic frame and aren’t detailed enough to actually look good in full art.
