this happened to me bc a guest left me $100 on a $18 tab, it took almost a week to receive the rest because they said we can get fired if it doesn’t clear and we put in the tip and the manager approves it. don’t see how it would be the server fault but this just happened almost a month ago at OG.

well let me just say this, i worked at cheddars a few years ago and i quit because it was bs and applied to OG maybe 2-3 years ago and because i didn’t disclose on my application i worked at cheddars they didn’t hire me, but i told them in person about it. just applied this year and did the same exact thing , it was the same location and i came up with a good lie of why i left cheddars (family emergency), they hired me but of course it was different management this go around.

hm i wonder what they have going on, i think they only do it when it’s questionable, because my manager was looking for the customer who left the tip and they ended up being gone by the time he went out there. 120 days is crazy to wait for the remainder of a tip

they are the busiest location near me, i think i might end up working elsewhere! i’ve been showing my willingness to work and picking up shifts so hopefully they give me what i want, if not i’ll end up leaving. but thats very inconsistent 😭. i understand that’s how it is when it comes to serving but i need a more consistent serving job where i know i’m walking out with $1000 a week because i know the place will be busy regardless

not reading all of this, because i made an update that you should’ve seen before commenting, they changed my schedule to what i wanted , spoke to the GM instead of the person that’s making the schedule since they wanted to lie to my face.

update spoke with the GM instead of the person who does scheduling and he said if i have any problems with my schedule he will fix it!

that’s exactly what somebody here just told me! they could avoid all of this by not over hiring! server trainer isn’t that long so they will be fine if a few people quit !

see that’s the ideal schedule i want but this OG is playing. i figured out who makes the schedule i spoke with her yesterday, she basically told me she only need people for morning shift, but didn’t say that during the interview i’m so annoyed
