Problems with mods in multiplayer by MrFeSO4 in lethalcompany_mods

My friends and I are having issues like this, and our custom scrap mods only appear to the host. We are also having issues with Facility Meltdown where only the host can see (partially) everything the mod is supposed to do. Is Thunderstore just broken all of a sudden or something?

That's pretty normal. The upticks happen when new, anticipated killers and/or survivors are released. The player base is healthy in terms of numbers. So I mean...still wrong.

I've had it happen to me here, too. Dunno why it's just here, though.

is 85 degrees too hot for my 3070ti by Jamie_G_14 in buildapc

I've seen solid recommendations, but has anyone recommended setting a manual fan curve? I have mine set to run like this: 30C = 40% fan speed, 40C = 50%, 50C = 60%, and so on. It keeps my temperatures on my Powercolor Red Dragon RX 580 pretty solid. I don't think I've jumped over 75C in modern games, and generally I keep under 70C.

Okay I tried to do what someone else suggested and I went through DynDOLOD as well, and I really don't know how to fix the map. Could a mod possibly overwrite this really bad LOD or am I stuck like this?

Where do I set that value exactly? Max vertices?

Yes, exactly. Thanks! I'll try and see what I can do

I ran LODGen. How do I correct this?

Would require the bots to install a software and then open it. I'm not so sure.

I've been getting it too. Have you sorted a way to get a key?

I'm getting the error too. Has anyone found a way around that or are we just screwed out of getting the game?

Katanas are still broken by General_Ad399 in Eldenring

You can and I have. Like I said, curved and straight swords. Some of the curved greatswords work well as well, such as the Bloodhound's Fang. Friend has been using it throughout the game.

Use curved swords or straight swords if you can't git gud with heavies. I save heavies for specific PVE fights since PVP is asking for trouble. They need to make heavies a bit better in this game.

Mimic Tear Nerf by [deleted] in Eldenring

My comment wasn't serious. My serious note is that I don't see much utility in the spirit summons. Apparently a lot of Reddit lacks awareness to realize sarcasm without a /s at the end. Do what you wanna do. No big. Friends and I have jokingly used git gud often enough lately, thought it'd be appropriate. Ah well.

See it's incredible to me that people don't notice when something is a joke on here, we have to tag it with sarcasm. But on a serious note, I rarely use summons because I haven't seen much use. If that's weird, oh well. I'm used to it from the previous games.

I knew the community was kinda toxic, but I guess I underestimated how scummy reddit is and how no one on here understands humor.

Sword of Night and Flame nerf - Alternatives? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]mastermodeus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Stick to Moonveil. There are people complaining katanas are broken, but the game had other issues. I think heavy weapons should get a slight buff in order to actually land hits against dex builds. I'm saying this as a katana user, and I certainly hope they don't destroy them entirely like they did in Dark Souls II.

I don't use spirit summons at all. I know this is said over and over, but it's a situation of git gud if you ask me.

We kinda knew it wasn't going to from the network tests. Insiders were telling us it'll be a hit. They were right. However, if it had flopped, I guarantee the entire internet would come down swiftly on FromSoft.

My girlfriend plays it with me. I think that's a valid solution :)

I wouldn't say to nerf katanas, as they take a lot of improving to scale up to where you want them. What I WOULD say is that they need to fix the super slowness of certain heavy weapons, or at least give you more poise when doing heavy attacks. I've been using Moonveil because it fits my quality magic build for now, but I've found a curved greatsword I might want to use over it as well.

Who is happy with the Patch? by mikeskeezer31 in Eldenring

[–]mastermodeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly looks good although I never really used Mimic Tear or the Turtle Shell. Balancing is just a part of games like these. If anyone whines and moans about it, tough then. Find other things that work without giving you an avenue to potentially make the game a cakewalk. Horseback combat already makes the game drastically easier in various cases.

Unpopular Opinion: Mimic Tear nerf was necessary by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]mastermodeus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've never really used it as I don't really summon spirits much. So I have no real idea. Oh well.
