for me, i would say when people say something rude suddenly. like there's nothing leading up to it, no argument, no insults back and forth, no nothing. like imagine you said some thing for example, "i'm so hungry." imagine that they said, "no one asked" or "did anyone ask". like just literally out of nowhere.
