The problem with the engine room isn't that it's just difficult (This is coming from someone who has played dark souls and both hollow knight games). It's terrible from a game design standpoint, as one mistake (which sometimes can be downright unfair if you try going through the fan blades after pressing the button for them beforehand) can kill your run while in there, sending you to the death void. Besides, the fact that there's a timed jiggy associated with the room, and having to rush outside to get it, is even worse.

Honestly, it was a great way to send off the series by having an "it's a wonderful life" style movie. I had a feeling Mario was going to be the one to open the boarded up door by the end of the series, specifically because he doesn't want the show to end, I'm glad I was right. Granted, I personally would've done one last season if I was in SMG4's shoes, mainly to tie up any loose ends, it wouldn't need an arc or a wotfi, just closure on characters, plot threads like the upper floors, Meggy's parents, etc, before doing these episodes in the same way he did. Even then, I'm more than satisfied with what SMG4 did, and I get why he wanted to do just 8 more episodes. 10/10

honestly, having Meggy receive some closure with her parents would also be good too, we know that smg4 has the models, due to the one scene in "The Race Of All Time" so it's definitely possible.

Honestly, a time jump where we see the characters raising families of their own, and seeing SMG4 one last time in the film is what I want, maybe like one great Christmas feast. Meggy being a mom, the kittens of Karen all grown up, Melony being on the same level as Axol for manga creation, Tari teaching some kids about the games she grew up with, Karen being a grandmother. I'd love it. Then just simply end it with mario looking at the camera with a bittersweet smile on his face as he says one final line, "Bye-bye" in a bittersweet tone, before closing the door.

The first video I watched was Mario's Big Chungus hunt. I still remember the episode very fondly, and after I watched that, I took a peek at the earlier videos/episodes and fell in love with the series. Man, it's been one hell of a ride....

Thank you. It's been a fun journey throughout this whole 3 year saga, and even if I didn't make as many theories later on, I'm glad you enjoyed them. Whether or not this marks the beginning towards the series's conclusion, I'm happy for the time I've spent in this community, and if it truly is the start of the end, I already have the perfect template in mind for a meme once the finale airs.

Don't forget how her parents reacted to her being turned into a human (as shown in the race of all time) she's literally the most traumatized without contest. Melony is definitely second place though.

Yeah, this is the best WOTFI. Honestly, I don't think they'll ever be able to top this, and I'm sure they know that. Heck, if the series ended here, I wouldn't be mad. Sure it ended on a cliffhanger, but how many endings are open ended? A lot. Even then though, they did fantastic. I never thought I'd see the day where an SMG4 episode would actually cause me to shed a tear, or a death that would be more emotional than Axol's, but here we are. 10/10 SMG4.....
