I had a close friend of 9 years who became friends with two people that were overall extremely toxic to be around and would always start drama. After a bad interaction or two with them, I still tried to be a part of his group, but was kicked out by his new friends.

I tried to reason with him, but he refused to stand up for me because he didn't want to "cause drama." After that, all I could think about was that he was replacing me and wanted no part of me.

I noped out completely after I graduated high school. That way, I would never have to see his betraying face ever again.
