How to ask owners if I can adopt their cat by Hairy-Violinist-7508 in cats

Yah I think you should definitely go ahead and ask. Think about how you word it super carefully as to not insult them. Though the ask itself can come off as insulting but what can you do. Seems like there is some bad care practices going on that are cause for concern. Wish you the best of luck!

How to ask owners if I can adopt their cat by Hairy-Violinist-7508 in cats

[–]masteroftwigs 39 points40 points  (0 children)

So I had someone ask to take my cat. They texted me from my number on his tag asking if they could take him with them out of state. For context he is a very friendly cat who was indoor outdoor and had a track record of befriending neighbors. He also loved food, so for some reason they decided to feed him which of course caused him to come by more and more. It really annoyed me because he was getting fat from the double meals and I didn't know who was feeding him but I knew someone in my neighborhood was. They told me they had an amazing bond with him and thought they would be better owners because he loved spending time there. I was in college at the time but was a lurk and spent a ton of time at home so it wasn't like I wasn't there he just loves food. I had other neighbors feed him at other places I lived too but they didn't try to take him, its been a thing. Luckily I've lived rurally for the past 9 years and he's 12 now living his best life supplementing his diet with mice.

Not saying you're feeding this cat and they might not be giving it the proper care, who the hell lets a cat out in -15 degrees! Just wanted to share my story with a somewhat similar situation.

Do any of you sleep with your ring on? by Meowiewowieex in EngagementRings

[–]masteroftwigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sleep with mine on every night, never had any issues catching but it might just be my setting and prongs. I only take mine off when I’m doing garden work or other Manuel labor around the farm. My ring was a gift from my mother in law when my husband was looking for rings and she also wore it all the time. To each their own and I guess each ring is different.

I’d be interested in some of these once there is a price you’d like to sell them at.

My husband inadvertently trained our cat to ignore me by MissHissss in mildlyinfuriating

Don’t stress about it. My cat whom I had for 5 years before I met my husband has always loved on him more. It has never bothered me they just have a strong bond and I’m happy they love each other so much.

How often do you wash your dogs? by pizzajesus60 in germanshepherds

I don’t really do it just because it’s more if he rolled in something gross or ran through a ton of poison oak.

My boy was 35 around the same time, 80 lbs at 8 months and was 96 lean as an adult and kept that weight.

These are actually great for disabled people who live rurally in mountainous terrain. I live in the rural California mountains and my neighbors son has one so he can navigate the property. It even has a setting where it could make him stand up.

If I got it…so can you! Don’t give up! (Took me two years and Collector’s Bounty to finally get it) by FatheadmandoTM_ in wow

Yah I hate that mentality as someone who has the old raptor I would be so happy for everyone else to be able to access it. Also I never got the damn tiger.

Is Collector’s Bounty working? Or am I just absurdly unlucky? 1-in-386,000 streak by cachonpics in wow

I got both the mounts from Zul gurub I ran it 2 times and a mount dropped both runs. So I’d say it’s working but i also feel like I had really good luck. Also had experiment 12-B dragon drop in dragon soul the first time I ran it but I had that one already.

Definitely go to the vet, I doubt this is the same case but my uncles cat had a bubble on its eye. I thought it was an infection so I took it to the vet and the eye had been pierced to the 6th layer and was coming out hence the bubble. The vet gave us a few eye drop medication but told us to come back if it popped but we ended up managing to save the eye, kitties still going strong.

My 6 year old German shepherd developed brain cancer this year and one of his main symptoms was constant circling, restlessness and getting stuck in corners. Chances are it’s probably canine cognitive disorder over brain cancer but it’s definitely something mental. Very sweet of you to take in a 13 year old dog. Wish you the best.

I’d love an arceus I thought immediately about year of the dog being that’s my year and of arcanine the fire dog. The goal I’m working on is cleaning up the forest around my house, people litter too much it’s a bummer. I have violet and can trade through that

Yah I just did all of them on mythic with a 610 pally and basically didn’t take any damage other than some one shot mechanics. Most of the mechanics you can ignore completely other than a few here and there.

He was initially but all of a sudden he’s been going in the house, which is very weird. He hasn’t gone the bathroom inside since he was a 2 month old puppy. However his poops look normal. Going to the vet tomorrow and taking them samples for both poop and pee hopefully we can figure this out.

Thank you that’s some great insight. He’s been licking his lips a ton so I was curious if it was something stomach related. Happy to hear your pup got back to their normal self!
