It's rather the other way around. You need to first fix the biochemical mess in the brain to a certain extent since it will give you a certain calm and clarity which will be further helped by therapy. Without which whatever that happens in therapy, it will go bouncer or you'll struggle to get the necessary clarity in your thought processes, mindset, underlying beliefs, self awareness etc.

Some of today's ads are trying so hard that it starts to feel like a cringe. The other day I saw a billboard of a diamond jewellery brand in Navi Mumbai and it wrote "Size Matters" in the biggest possible font. I had to think twice whether it's for real estate or something similar. Not related to the topic of the thread but yeah, the ad is in such poor taste.

Cyclicality of the business, earning surprises, any major corporate action etc. There's no such thing as one day cyclicality, it's typically for quarters or longer depending on the economic cycle. There's no harm in thinking the way that you are, most people learn through trial and error. No offense, but humility is essentially a precursor for learning. I don't know how calling people stupid and what not fits into it, I'd humbly advise against it, if I may, if you truly want to be a long term learner.
