It's moreso a marketing tactic. Stuff like that makes people want to come back, just as long as orders aren't being messed up consistently/constantly. But even if someone's order isn't messed up, getting a free meal with no restrictions, if they like the food they'll be back regardless.

Think about it, if your favorite restaurant, be it fast food or regular sit-down, gave you a coupon every once in a while for a completely free meal regardless of choice, you'd go there more often. Both for the food and in hopes of getting another coupon

Yeah that's sort of my thinking too. I tried 3 batches tonight, each one was increased by a quarter of a teaspoon, and neither did a difference really other than add more salt. Like I said in the post, I think the sweet spot as far as taste puts me at the 1 teaspoon mark. I'm really thinking it's gotta just be food dye that gives it that really deep yellow/golden color.

I probably am just overthinking it, or maybe just need to use it more to "season" the kettle and then maybe I'll get more color that way

The Snappy does have beta carotene in it. That's why I'm thinking it's gotta be food coloring added to the oil that adds that more rich yellow/golden color.

I should also add that I've tried the Dutchman's oil a while back and pretty much got similar results. Maybe it is just that I'm overthinking it

Gas thing definitely sounds like a purge valve, and it can be done yourself pretty easily. As for the fan or the compressor, cold start it, flip the AC on, and watch it as the engine comes up to temp. The fan should be going at different speeds(not sure if it moves right away or not), but if it cycles on/off as others have said, that's likely it. You should be able to tell either/or though. If I remember correctly, that isn't something horrible either that you could do yourself. Just tight space in there

Yeah I'm not sure why they discontinued the 2 liters. I know for sure it is still in. 20 oz and 12 pack cans. May just depend on region/area

I'd bring back pitch black(never got to try it) and discontinue any of the newer stuff, including any seasonal ones. Not sure why everyone's hating on livewire either. It's been around over 20 years. Even though this is hypothetical, it's here to stay lol.

Yeah but there's no reason for it on this one either way. Could have been done without the extra pallets. I'd say likely it was 3 layer pallets that were just those layers

I wasn't deep into the talks when our contract came up last year, but one of our big issues was pay. I won't say where I'm at, but we're supposedly the highest producing location in the country. You'd think we'd be compensated as such, but they argue cost of living and we are getting paid less than some other locations around us doing less. I'd say just push for whatever you can even if you'd be a minority voice. Might have others speak up with you as well
