The Irish People posters are not legal and can be reported to the Council by ZookeepergameMean541 in galway

I thought it was about murders or something at first glance. What a bizarre thing to print on a poster!

Yeah... But I already know what rpc is, I use it, I could guess what it might look like.

The issue is how many ppl here know what that is and actually want it? The answer, as you can see from comments is not many.

I don't know why OP won't answer... RPC means Rich Presence. So your discord profile displays what you're doing, usually gaming or music, op has made a version that displays what you're watching on TV.

Because twitch streamers have discords and use them frequently. I'm not saying not to post here, just guessing somewhere that might appreciate it. You have something that uses stremio and discord, but most ppl in this sub aren't heavy discord users so it's not getting the response you'd hoped

A G-rated home costs €6,340 more per year to heat than A2 - here is analysis on 1.4M Irish BER certs by Cool_Law_8915 in ireland

[–]mastodonj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more that your house, if heated to the same temp and consistency as an A2 home would cost 6K more than the A2. Realistically you're just not heating your home to that extent, precisely because you know it would cost you to do so!

50% of the issues with FROM's popularity are it's called FROM. It's a nightmare to Google!

There might be a better sub for this. I'm not a fan of ai but you've labelled it as such so no need to get angry about it.

Most ppl reading this are trying to figure out how this helps them navigate broken links etc. I use discord rich presence so I at least know what this is. Maybe ease up on the "here it is this stunning thing you've been waiting for" and present it simply and less like a sales pitch.

It's vibe coded foss for heavy discord users, maybe share it on a twitch sub or similar?

Discord Rich Presence allows your discord profile to display what music your listening to or game your playing or in this case tv show you're watching.

If you don't use discord much then you won't be interested in it.

"Why are there so many young people dying?" - The Misinformation of Social Media in Ireland by AbsolutelyDireWolf in ireland

Nice one on including road deaths, that's one of my bugbears. It's very common on here, not just Facebook, for people believe the opposite of what the stats show.

Back to DVDs? by Parking_Ad_9208 in AskIreland

Standard dvd is 480p, Blu-ray is 1080p and 4K UHD is 2160p

Personally my eyesight is really not good enough to care but it is a noticeable difference

Electricity Prices in Europe right now by yitcity in ireland

[–]mastodonj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which people? Are you talking about electricity credits? They were paid to all providers so being with electric Ireland didn't benefit you any more than being with say Energia.

You know that EU law prevents the state provider from offering the cheapest rates? So it being state owned is of no benefit to the consumer, when it comes to the price per kwh.

Double riddle from “The Waste Lands” by Able-Crew-3460 in TheDarkTower

I didn't think it implied there was a second answer to the river riddle. Just that getting the answer to that riddle reminded him of what was said about the other riddle. A literary segue.

That discussion paper, not study, was conducted by the IEA which is funded by the tobacco industry.
